便雅憫人歟、逃出耶路撒冷以求安、吹角於提哥亞、立斾於伯哈基琳、蓋禍自北而著、毀滅甚巨、

便雅憫人乎、當出耶路撒冷逃避、在提哥亞吹角、在伯哈基琳樹立旗號、因大災大禍自北方而至、

“ Flee for safety, people of Benjamin! Flee from Jerusalem! Sound the trumpet in Tekoa! Raise the signal over Beth Hakkerem! For disaster looms out of the north, even terrible destruction.

The Lord says,“ People of Benjamin, run for safety! Run away from Jerusalem! Blow trumpets in the city of Tekoa! Warn everyone in Beth Hakkerem! Horrible trouble is coming from the north. The Babylonians will destroy everything with awful power.

Flee for safety, O people of Benjamin, from the midst of Jerusalem! Blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and raise a signal on Beth-haccherem, for disaster looms out of the north, and great destruction.

“ Run for your lives, you people of Benjamin! Get out of Jerusalem! Sound the alarm in Tekoa! Send up a signal at Beth hakkerem! A powerful army is coming from the north, coming with disaster and destruction.

“ Run for cover out of Jerusalem, Benjaminites. Sound the ram’s horn in Tekoa; raise a smoke signal over Beth-haccherem, for disaster threatens from the north, even a crushing blow.

“ Flee to safety, you sons of Benjamin, From the midst of Jerusalem! Blow a trumpet in Tekoa And raise a warning signal over Beth haccerem; For evil looks down from the north, Along with a great destruction.

“ O you children of Benjamin, Gather yourselves to flee from the midst of Jerusalem! Blow the trumpet in Tekoa, And set up a signal-fire in Beth Haccerem; For disaster appears out of the north, And great destruction.

Flee for safety, ye children of Benjamin, out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and raise up a signal on Beth- haccherem; for evil looketh forth from the north, and a great destruction.

O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction.

哩甲子馬其亞、治理伯哈西琳者、修葺糞門、置扉、鎖楗俱備。

即伯利恆、以淡、提哥亞、

耶布士人處於耶路撒冷、不為便雅憫族所逐、故得與之偕居、至於今日。○

乃遣人至提哥亞、招哲婦、謂之曰、爾佯懷憂、身勿沃膏、當衣喪服、若為死恆哀之婦、

耶和華曰、大邦之民、勃然而興、來從北方、至自地極。

耶和華曰、在邑之民、當斂財貨、蓋我必於斯時、驅逐斯邦、若以繩發石、使之困苦、遭難特甚。

主耶和華曰、我必使諸王之王、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、來自北方、簡其車馬、率其軍旅、以攻推羅、平原屬邑、必亡以刃、築壘建營、多置干戈、攻推羅城、以槌破城垣、以斧斫戍樓。城垣既破、邑門既啟、敵人驟入、萬馬奔騰、塵埃蔽邑、乘者號呼、車輪轟轟、宮室震動。維彼逵衢、遭馬足之蹂躪、維彼人民、攖鋒刃而殺戮、雖地利險峻、亦無不破。敵攘貨財、毀華宮、破壁垣、木石塵土、俱投水中、謳歌必息、琴瑟不聞、我使之然、惟留磐巔、張網之所、厥後不復建城於此、我耶和華已言之矣。主耶和華告推羅曰、爾之城垣傾圮、被傷者號呼、居民見殺、洲島聞之、豈不震動。海濱君王、將下其位、解其麗服、去其繡裳、戰慄危懼、坐於塗炭、眾作哀歌云、有名之邑、在彼海中、素稱鞏固、舟楫薈萃之所、鄰邦無不惕伏、今已傾圮、海島之民、見爾傾頹、歸於烏有、靡不震驚。主耶和華曰、我使爾邑荒蕪、無人居處、使海水漲溢淹爾、我使爾居民、俱落深淵、歸於幽邈、陷於地下、無異久葬之人、斯後我使福邦復興、爾邑無人居處、我使爾邑歸於烏有、雖索之而莫得、凡見爾若此、必致恐懼、我耶和華已言之矣。

我必使我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、率北方之眾、攻斯土之民、及四周鄰國、滅之殆盡、使見之者駭愕、皆作怨聲。

播告猶大及耶路撒冷、人當吹角、召眾和會、群入城垣、立旌斾遙指郇岡、使人逃避於彼、毋稍遲延、我降大禍、來自北方、盡遭其毀。

耶和華曰、禍必自北、臨斯民矣。蓋我必召北方諸族、咸至斯土、置座於耶路撒冷邑門城垣、及猶大諸邑。

猶大王烏西亞、以色列王約轄子耶羅破暗時地震、前二年、提哥亞眾牧中、有亞麼士得默示、言以色列民之事、曰、

便雅憫族之邑、乃耶利哥、伯曷拉、基悉谷、伯亞拉巴、西馬臉、伯特利、亞文、巴拉、阿弗拉、基法哈摩耐、阿弗尼枷巴共十二邑、與其鄉里。基遍、拉馬、庇綠。密士巴、基非拉、摩撒、哩金、耳別、大喇拉、西拉、以勒弗、耶布士、即耶路撒冷、基庇亞、基烈、共十四邑、與其鄉里、以上所載、便雅憫族之業、循其世系。

風聞敵至、北方大震、使猶大諸邑荒蕪、為野犬之藪穴。

乘馬執弓者、喧譁不靖、舉邑遁逃、入彼叢林、登彼險阻。眾邑荒蕪、無人居處。

耶利米曰、我聞吹角戰鬥之聲、我心戚戚、中懷不安、不禁哀鳴。城邑破於陸續、帷帳毀於俄傾、遍地荒蕪。

耶布士人、即耶路撒冷居民也、猶大族不能驅之、與之同居、至於今日。
