燈光不復照於爾間、新娶者、與新婦之語、不復聞於爾間、爾商旅乃世上大夫、萬國以爾巫術迷惑、

天下居民、野獸飛鳥、歸王掌握、所夢金首、即爾是也、

爾使鄰里縱飲、酌彼旨酒、以致亂儀、欲其取辱、目睹為快、禍必不遠、耶和華怒爾、若手執爵以飲爾、使爾過酣、露爾下體、至於哇吐、變榮為辱、

像首鑄以兼金、胸臂以銀為之、腹與股則皆銅所作、

災降於江湖、使之立涸、斯土之人、服事偶像、舉國若狂。

邦國眾多、列王顯赫、必使迦勒底人為其服役、視其所行、而加報施。以色列族上帝耶和華諭我曰、我必震怒、錫爾以爵、盛以鴆酒、遣爾至列國、使彼咸飲。飲畢若狂、傾欹不定、蓋我必降以鋒刃之災。我即取爵而往、至耶和華所遣我諸國、使彼飲之、至耶路撒冷及猶大諸邑、與厥王公、使彼喪亡、見之者無不駭愕、怨聲咒詛、今日之事為徵。亦至埃及王法老、以及群臣眾庶、與非同族者、及烏士、非利士、亞實基倫、迦薩、以革倫國王亞實突遺民、以東、摩押、亞捫、推羅諸王、西頓諸王、海島諸王、底但、提馬、布斯、與薙髮之四周者、亞喇伯諸王、與異族諸王、同居曠野、心哩諸王、以攔諸王、米太諸王、北方諸王、無間遐邇、爰及天下列邦、厥後示殺王、亦飲斯爵。爾必告之曰、萬有之主以色列族之上帝耶和華云、予必擊爾以鋒刃、當飲斯爵、至於酩酊、至於哇吐、顛躓不起。

上帝鞫人、維公維正、大淫婦以淫亂誘天下、流上帝僕之血、故上帝罪之、為伸其冤、

我必使我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、率北方之眾、攻斯土之民、及四周鄰國、滅之殆盡、使見之者駭愕、皆作怨聲。
