爾亦必飲苦杯、至於酩酊、自匿於城中、以避諸敵、

我心昏迷、戰栗特甚、深宵宴樂、忽變駭懼、設席宴享、爰遣邏卒巡更、呼曰、群伯速興、備爾干戈、

伯沙撒王、肆筵設席、召有爵位者千人、咸赴王讌、與眾同飲、進酒時、命取金銀器皿、乃王之祖尼布甲尼撒得之於耶路撒冷上帝殿者、遂取之至、王公后妃以之飲酒、

是夕迦勒底王伯沙撒、為敵所殺、

彼於我前、自負不凡、故必降罰、若醉以酒、至於哇吐、顛躓不起、為人訕笑。

我之上帝耶和華、垂聽我祈兮、使余目之復明、免於死亡兮。

猛毅之人、喪敗而長眠、英武之士、其力廢弛兮。雅各之上帝兮、加以譴責、馬與乘者、淹然而就死地兮。
