Let not the archer string his bow, nor let him put on his armor. Do not spare her young men; completely destroy her army.

套上車，騎上馬！頂盔站立，磨槍披甲！

所有拉弓的啊，要在巴比倫的四圍擺陣，射箭攻擊它，不用愛惜箭枝，因為它得罪了耶和華。

你要上去攻擊米拉大翁之地，又攻擊比割的居民。將他們追殺滅盡，照我所吩咐你的一切去做。這是耶和華說的。

天上的星宿都不發光，太陽一升起就變黑暗，月亮也不放光。我必因邪惡懲罰世界，因罪孽懲罰惡人，我要止息驕傲人的狂妄，制伏殘暴者的傲慢。我要使人比純金更少，比俄斐的赤金還少。我，萬軍之耶和華狂怒，就是發烈怒的日子，要令天震動，地必搖撼，離其本位。人如被追趕的羚羊，像無人聚集的羊羣，各自歸回本族，逃到本地。凡被追上的必被刺死，凡被捉拿的必倒在刀下。他們的嬰孩必在他們眼前被摔死，他們的房屋被搶劫，他們的妻子被污辱。看哪，我必激起瑪代人攻擊他們，瑪代人並不看重銀子，也不喜愛金子。他們必用弓擊潰青年，不憐憫婦人所生的；眼也不顧惜孩子。

你們要招集一切弓箭手來攻擊巴比倫，在巴比倫四圍安營，不容一人逃脫。要照着它所做的報應它；它怎樣待人，你們也要怎樣待它，因為它向耶和華－以色列的聖者狂傲。所以它的壯丁必仆倒在街上。當那日，它的士兵全都必靜默無聲。這是耶和華說的。

因為死亡從窗戶進來，進入我們的宮殿，從外邊剪除孩童，從街上剪除少年。

要殺它一切的牛犢，使牠們下去遭殺戮。他們有禍了，因為他們的日子，就是他們受罰的時刻已經來到。

外有刀劍使人喪亡，內有驚恐，少男少女是如此，吃奶的、白髮的也是如此。

因為對那不憐憫人的，他們要受沒有憐憫的審判；憐憫勝過審判。

看哪，有一民族從北方而來，有一大國和許多君王被激起，從地極來到。他們拿弓和槍，性情殘忍，毫不留情；他們的聲音像海浪澎湃。巴比倫啊，他們騎着馬，如上戰場的人擺列隊伍，要攻擊你。

抓起你的嬰孩摔在磐石上的，那人有福了。
