When he utters his voice there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and he makes the mist rise from the ends of the earth. He makes lightning for the rain, and he brings forth the wind from his storehouses.

Have you an arm like God, and can you thunder with a voice like his?

At your rebuke they fled; at the sound of your thunder they took to flight.

And he said to them,“ Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.And the men marveled, saying,“ What sort of man is this, that even winds and sea obey him?”

So Moses stretched out his staff over the land of Egypt, and the Lord brought an east wind upon the land all that day and all that night. When it was morning, the east wind had brought the locusts.
