When he thunders, the waters in the heavens roar; he makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth. He sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses.

When I thunder, the waters in the heavens roar. I make clouds rise from one end of the earth to the other. I send lightning with the rain. I bring out the wind from my storerooms.

When he utters his voice there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and he makes the mist rise from the ends of the earth. He makes lightning for the rain, and he brings forth the wind from his storehouses.

耶和華在天上發出雷鳴，至高者發出他的聲音，伴隨著冰雹和火炭；

他發出話語，使這些融化；他使風吹動，水就流出。

神記念挪亞以及與他一起在方舟裡的所有活物和牲畜。神使風吹過大地，水就開始退落。

歌頌那乘駕於亙古的諸天之上的主！看哪，他發出聲音，是強大的聲音！

眾水因你的斥責而逃遁，因你的雷聲而奔逃；

列邦喧鬧，列國動搖；神發出聲音，大地就消融。

他使東風從天上颳起，以他的力量引領南風；

太陽升起的時候，神又指派了炎熱的東風；太陽直射在約拿的頭上，他就發昏。於是他為自己求死，說：「我死了比活著更好。」

耶穌對他們說：「為什麼膽怯呢？你們這些小信的人哪！」耶穌就起來，斥責風和浪，湖面就變得一片平靜。他們都感到驚奇，說：「這個人究竟是什麼人？連風和浪也聽從他！」

耶和華的聲音在眾水之上，榮耀的神打雷；耶和華在大水之上。耶和華的聲音帶著能力，耶和華的聲音帶著威嚴。耶和華的聲音震斷香柏樹，耶和華震斷黎巴嫩的香柏樹。他使黎巴嫩跳躍如牛犢，使西連跳躍如野牛犢。耶和華的聲音劈下火焰。耶和華的聲音震撼曠野，耶和華震撼加低斯的曠野。耶和華的聲音使母鹿分娩，使林中的樹木凋零光禿；凡在他聖殿中的都說：「榮耀啊！」耶和華坐在洪水之上，耶和華坐著為王，直到永遠。
