原來，自從創世以來，神那不可見的本性，就是他永恆的大能和神性，都藉著所造之物，被人明白、被人看見，以致使人無法推諉。

耶和華藉著智慧奠定大地的根基，藉著聰慧確立諸天；

耶和華披戴光明如披衣裳，展開諸天如幔帳。

「我們的主、我們的神哪，你配接受榮耀、尊貴和權能，因為你創造了萬有；萬有是因著你的旨意而存在、被創造的。」

以雅各的神為自己的幫助、以耶和華神為自己盼望的，那人是蒙福的！造諸天、大地、海洋和其中一切的那一位，他必持守信實，直到永遠。

喊著說：「各位，你們為什麼做這些事呢？我們和你們同樣是人！我們向你們傳福音，是要你們離棄這些虛妄的事，歸向永生的神，就是造了天、地、海和其中萬有的神。

我親手奠定了大地的根基，我的右手展開了諸天；我一召喚它們，它們就一同立起。

當稱謝那藉著聰慧造了諸天的，因他的慈愛永遠長存！

竟忘記了那造你的耶和華，就是展開諸天、奠定大地根基的那一位；竟終日不斷地懼怕，就是懼怕壓迫者預備行毀滅時的怒火！其實那壓迫者的怒火在哪裡呢？

他一吩咐，暴風就興起，揚起海洋的波濤。

哦，深奧啊！神的智慧和知識的財富！他的判斷是多麼地無法探究，他的道是多麼地無法測度！

神耶和華創造諸天，展開穹蒼，鋪張地和地所出的一切，又把氣息賜給地上的眾人，把靈賜給行在其中的人——神耶和華如此說：

但在末後的這些日子裡，神藉著他的兒子向我們說話。神預定了他為萬有的繼承人，也藉著他造了宇宙。他是神榮耀的光輝，是神本體的真像，以自己大能的話語托住萬有。他成就了潔淨罪孽的事，就坐在高天至尊者的右邊。

是我造了地，又在其上創造人；是我親手展開了諸天，又命定其中的萬象。

造了宇宙和其中萬有的神，這一位既然是天地的主，就不住在人手所造的殿宇裡，

你的救贖主耶和華——從你在母腹中就塑造了你，他如此說：「是我耶和華造了萬物，我獨自展開了諸天，我單獨鋪張了大地；

耶和華啊，你所做的何其多！你藉著智慧成就了這一切，大地充滿了你的創造；

因為萬有都是藉著他造的：天上和地上的，看得見和看不見的，無論王位或主權，統治的或掌權的，一切都是藉著他造的，也是為他而造的，他在萬有之先，萬有也藉著他而存在，

你們向高天舉目觀看吧！是誰創造了這些萬象？是按著數目把萬象領出來的那一位！他一一點其名；因他的大能大力，它們一個也不缺失。

神坐在大地的圓穹之上，地上的居民好像蚱蜢。他展開諸天如幔子，鋪張穹蒼如居住的帳篷。

哈利路亞！你們當從天上讚美耶和華，在高處讚美他！他的眾使者啊，你們當讚美他！他的眾天軍啊，你們當讚美他！太陽和月亮啊，你們當讚美他！所有放光的星辰哪，你們當讚美他！諸天上的諸天哪，諸天上的眾水啊，你們當讚美他！願這一切都讚美耶和華的名，因為他一吩咐，它們就被造成。

起初，神創造諸天和大地。那時大地空虛混沌，黑暗在淵面上，神的靈運行在水面上。神說：「要有光」，就有了光。神看光是好的。神把光和黑暗分開，神稱光為「晝」，稱黑暗為「夜」。有晚上，有早晨；這是第一日。神說：「讓眾水之間有穹蒼，把水和水分開。」
