By wisdom Yahweh founded the earth. By understanding, he established the heavens.

He covers himself with light as with a garment. He stretches out the heavens like a curtain.

“ Worthy are you, our Lord and God, the Holy One, to receive the glory, the honor, and the power, for you created all things, and because of your desire they existed, and were created!”

Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God:who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever;

“ Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and bring you good news, that you should turn from these vain things to the living God, who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them;

Yes, my hand has laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand has spread out the heavens. when I call to them, they stand up together.

to him who by understanding made the heavens; for his loving kindness endures forever:

Have you forgotten Yahweh your Maker, who stretched out the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth? Do you live in fear continually all day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he prepares to destroy? Where is the fury of the oppressor?

For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up its waves.

Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!

I have made the earth, and created man on it. I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens. I have commanded all their army.

The God who made the world and all things in it, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, doesn’t dwell in temples made with hands.

Yahweh, how many are your works! In wisdom, you have made them all. The earth is full of your riches.

For by him all things were created in the heavens and on the earth, visible things and invisible things, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things have been created through him and for him.He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.

Lift up your eyes on high, and see who has created these, who brings out their army by number. He calls them all by name. by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power, not one is lacking.

It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in,

Praise Yah! Praise Yahweh from the heavens! Praise him in the heights!Praise him, all his angels! Praise him, all his army!Praise him, sun and moon! Praise him, all you shining stars!Praise him, you heavens of heavens, you waters that are above the heavens.Let them praise Yahweh’s name, for he commanded, and they were created.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.The earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep and God’s Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters.God said,“ Let there be light,” and there was light.God saw the light, and saw that it was good. God divided the light from the darkness.God called the light“ day”, and the darkness he called“ night”. There was evening and there was morning, the first day.God said,“ Let there be an expanse in the middle of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”
