As I overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah along with their neighboring towns,” declares the Lord,“ so no one will live there; no people will dwell in it.

耶和華自天雨火硫於所多馬蛾摩拉、由是邑垣、平壤、民生、植物、無不盡滅。

耶和華曰昔所多馬、蛾摩拉及其鄰邑傾圮、無人居處、以東亦必若是。

所多馬蛾摩拉二邑、上帝擬定其罪而滅之、變為瓦礫、以警後世之惡者、

所多馬蛾摩拉與周鄰數邑、同淫亂、荒於色、俱有常刑、爇之以火、以垂炯戒、

如羅得時、其人飲食貿易、樹蓺搆造、迨羅得出所多馬之日、天雨火硫而滅眾、人子顯日亦如是、

昔巴比倫富甲萬邦、為迦勒底人所尊、厥後必為上帝所敗、若所多馬蛾摩拉然。自茲以後、代無居人、亞喇伯人不張其幕、牧者不使羊憩息、

故我以色列族之上帝、萬有之主耶和華、指己而誓、摩押必若所多馬、亞捫必若蛾摩拉、荊棘叢生、斥鹵遍地、恆必荒蕪、我之遺民、必虜其貨財、得其基業、

硫磺及鹽、焚燬徧地、不得耕耘、無物產、無草萊、如所多馬、蛾摩拉、押馬、西編、為耶和華所怒、而使之傾覆者、

屍仆大邑衢路、昔吾主釘十字架之處、其與所多馬埃及也、將毋同、

以法蓮乎、我安忍舍爾、以色列乎、我焉肯棄爾、豈能視爾若押馬、敗爾若西編、我回厥志、慈愛之念、頓發於中、我不憤怒降災、不滅以法蓮、我乃上帝、非若世人、我至聖之主、駐蹕於爾中、我不怒爾、

故頃刻間、災害數至、即饑饉、痛哭、死亡、火爇、蓋鞫之之上帝、乃大能之主、天下諸王、素與巴比倫行淫、專事華靡、見厥火炎炎、必哭之哀、

民曰、如萬有之主耶和華、不俾我眾猶有孑遺、則必若所多馬、蛾摩拉矣。

無石可為屋隅基址、使爾荒蕪、歷代若是。
