Yet their Redeemer is strong; the Lord Almighty is his name. He will vigorously defend their cause so that he may bring rest to their land, but unrest to those who live in Babylon.

But I am strong and will save them. My name is the Lord Who Rules Over All. I will stand up for them. I will bring peace and rest to their land. But I will bring trouble to those who live in Babylon.

Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is his name. He will surely plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth, but unrest to the inhabitants of Babylon.

But the one who redeems them is strong. His name is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. He will defend them and give them rest again in Israel. But for the people of Babylon there will be no rest!

耶和華說：「我的子民啊，我要為你們伸冤，替你們報仇；我要使巴比倫的江河枯竭，泉源乾涸。

「耶和華，以色列的君王和救贖主，萬軍之耶和華說，『我是首先的，我是末後的，除我以外再沒有真神。

你們的救贖主耶和華——以色列的聖者說：「為了你們的緣故，我必派大軍進攻巴比倫，使迦勒底人坐著他們引以為榮的船逃亡。

「如蛆如蟲的雅各啊，以色列人啊，不要怕！我耶和華必幫助你。以色列的聖者是你的救贖主。

上帝啊，求你為我伸張正義，在不虔敬的人面前為我辯護，救我脫離詭詐邪惡的人。

耶和華啊，求你與我的敵人為敵，攻擊那些攻擊我的人。

所以在一天之內，她的災禍，就是死亡、哀傷和饑荒要同時臨到她身上。她要被火燒盡，因為審判她的主上帝能力偉大。

耶和華使他們脫離痛苦、悲傷和殘酷奴役的時候，他們必這樣譏笑巴比倫王：「暴君滅亡了！暴政結束了！耶和華折斷了邪惡君主的權杖。他曾狂怒地攻伐列邦，無休無止，怒氣沖沖地征服列國，大肆迫害。如今天下太平，人人歡呼歌唱，

雅各的上帝卻迥然不同，因為祂創造萬物，以色列人是祂的產業，祂名叫「萬軍之耶和華」。

這事以後，我聽見天上好像有一大群人在呼喊：「哈利路亞！救贖、榮耀和權能都歸於我們的上帝！因為祂的審判真實公義，祂懲罰了那用淫亂敗壞世界的大淫婦，為那些被她殺害的奴僕伸冤。」他們又歡呼說：「哈利路亞！焚燒大淫婦的煙不斷上騰，直到永永遠遠。」

上帝是公義的，祂必以患難來報應那些迫害你們的人。當主耶穌和祂大能的天使在烈焰中從天上顯現時，祂必使你們這些受苦的人和我們同得安慰，

諸天啊，歌唱吧！因為耶和華成就了這事。地的深處啊，歡呼吧！眾山嶺和林中的樹木啊，你們都要歌唱！因為耶和華救贖了雅各，在以色列彰顯了祂的榮耀。在母腹中造你、救贖你的耶和華說：「我是創造萬物的耶和華，我獨自鋪展穹蒼，開闢大地。

所以，你要轉告以色列人說，『我是耶和華。我要伸出臂膀重重地懲罰埃及，救贖你們脫離埃及人的轄制，脫離他們的奴役。
