敵與駱駝、牲畜、帷幕、如蝗眾多、不可勝數、既至、欲滅斯土。

有羊七千、駝三千、牛五百耦、牝驢五百、僕從眾多、甲於東方。

詰旦、巴述釋耶利米出於桎梏、耶利米告巴述曰、耶和華易爾名為馬各米撒畢。蓋耶和華曰、我將使爾恆有懼心、友朋見爾、莫不悚懼、爾友將亡於刃、使爾目睹、蓋巴比倫王將伐猶大、殺戮殆盡、擄其民人、而反、我使之然。

城邑破於陸續、帷帳毀於俄傾、遍地荒蕪。
