敵至以掃、盡窺其所藏、悉取其所有、子孫戚屬、以及比鄰、俱被攘奪、歸於烏有、我使之然。

But I will strip Esau bare; I will uncover his hiding places, so that he cannot conceal himself. His armed men are destroyed, also his allies and neighbors, so there is no one to say,

But I will strip everything away from Esau’s people. I will uncover their hiding places. They will not be able to hide anywhere. Their army is destroyed. Their friends and neighbors are destroyed. So there is no one to say,

But I have stripped Esau bare; I have uncovered his hiding places, and he is not able to conceal himself. His children are destroyed, and his brothers, and his neighbors; and he is no more.

But I will strip bare the land of Edom, and there will be no place left to hide. Its children, its brothers, and its neighbors will all be destroyed, and Edom itself will be no more.

But I will strip Esau bare; I will uncover his secret places. He will try to hide, but he will be unable. His descendants will be destroyed along with his relatives and neighbors. He will exist no longer.

But I have stripped Esau bare, I have uncovered his hiding places So that he will not be able to conceal himself; His offspring have been destroyed along with his brothers And his neighbors, and he no longer exists.

But I have made Esau bare; I have uncovered his secret places, And he shall not be able to hide himself. His descendants are plundered, His brethren and his neighbors, And he is no more.

暮時觳觫、未及黎明、已歸死亡、凡攘奪我儕者其報若是。

不愛以掃、使其山荒蕪、為野犬藪穴、以東曰、予雖貧乏、傾圮之宅、必復建造、萬有之主耶和華曰、彼雖興版築、必為我所毀、人稱之為惡土、耶和華震怒斯民、恆久不已、

如經云、吾愛雅各、不愛以掃、

耶和華行善之人是悅、敬虔之士不遺、而使之永存兮、作惡者流、必絕其嗣兮。

我見惡者強暴、蔓衍葱蘢、若茂樹兮、曾幾何時、其人已非、不得其所兮。

提慢之壯士、不勝恐懼、以掃之居民、咸遭誅殛、

雖匿於加密之巔、我將搜而出之、雖藏於大海之底、我必使蛇嚙之、

昔爾亂國紀、害兆民、故不得宴然、以正邱首、作惡之人、其後必無令名、父既犯罪、戮及子孫、不復振興、不建邑城、不得寸土。萬有之主耶和華曰、我將勃然而興、滅巴比倫遺民、塗抹其名、延及王之宗室、淪胥以亡、

人能退藏於密、使我不見乎、我豈不能充乎天地哉。

貨財藏於密室、我以之錫爾、俾爾知命爾名者、乃我耶和華以色列族之上帝。
