那逃避恐怖的、必墜入陷坑；那從陷坑中上來的、必被機檻纏住；因為當他們被察罰的年日我必使這些災禍臨到摩押：這是永恆主發神諭說的。

免於驚駭者、必陷於坎阱、出於坎阱者、必罹於機檻、屆期我必降災於摩押。

逃避驚懼之事者、必陷於坎阱、出自坎阱者、必罹於網羅、我必使摩押受罰之期速臨、此乃主所言、

“ Whoever flees from the terror will fall into a pit, whoever climbs out of the pit will be caught in a snare; for I will bring on Moab the year of her punishment,” declares the Lord.

Anyone who runs away from the terror will fall into the pit. Anyone who climbs out of the pit will be caught in the trap. The time is coming when I will punish Moab,” announces the Lord.

He who flees from the terror shall fall into the pit, and he who climbs out of the pit shall be caught in the snare. For I will bring these things upon Moab, the year of their punishment, declares the Lord.

“ Those who flee in terror will fall into a trap, and those who escape the trap will step into a snare. I will see to it that you do not get away, for the time of your judgment has come,” says the Lord.

避哈薛之刃者、必為耶戶所殺、避耶戶之刃者、必為以利沙所殺、

如人避獅而遇熊、入室捫壁、被齧於蛇、

其中僱卒、猶闌中之犢、咸卻退遁逃、而不堅立、因其患難之日、受罰之時至矣、

其餘遁入亞弗邑、城垣傾圮、壓斃二萬七千人、便哈達遁入城、匿於內室、

維時、耶和華之使者出、在亞述營、擊其人十八萬五千、晨起視之、乃屍而已、亞述王西拿基立遂去而返、居於尼尼微、崇拜其神於尼斯洛廟時、其子亞得米勒與沙利色、以刃弒之、遁於亞拉臘地、其子以撒哈頓嗣位、

懲罰之日既至、報施之日已來、以色列必知之、先知愚妄、感於靈者顚狂、因爾多罪、怨恨特甚、

當受罰之日、災禍遙臨、爾將何為、求拯濟於何人、置貨財於何處、

耶和華曰、我必召眾漁人以漁之、厥後召眾獵人、自山岡磐穴以獵之、

悉屬虛無、惑人之工、譴責之際、俱必滅亡、

我見主立於壇側曰、擊柱頂以震門閾、俾其折碎、墮於眾首、我必以刃戮其遺民、無一能逃、無一得避、彼雖穿穴入於陰府、我手必取之、雖攀至高天、我必降之、雖匿於迦密之巔、我必搜而出之、雖避我目、藏於海底、我必命蛇齧之、雖被虜於敵前、我必命刃殺之、我注目視之、乃為殃、非為祥也、

疾趨者不得避所、強壯者不得施力、剛勇者不能自救、執弓者不得屹立、捷足者不得脫逃、乘馬者不能自救、

其至善者、等於荊榛、其至正者、劣於棘籬、爾守望者所宣懲罰之日、今已至矣、爾必驚擾、

悉屬虛無、惑人之工、譴責之際、俱必滅亡、

故其行徑、將為暗中之滑地、彼必見逐、蹶於其中、蓋譴責之年、我必降之以災、耶和華言之矣、

逃於驚駭之聲者、必陷於坎阱、出於坎阱者、必罹於機檻、蓋天啟其牖、地震其基、

彼行可惡之事、豈知恥乎、非也、毫不知恥、亦不赧顏、故必仆於仆者之中、我譴責之際、彼必顚躓、耶和華言之矣、
