迦薩悉除髮、亞實基倫已亡、平原遺民歟、割傷己身、將至何時、

Gaza will shave her head in mourning; Ashkelon will be silenced. You remnant on the plain, how long will you cut yourselves?

The people of Gaza will be so sad they will shave their heads. And Ashkelon’s people will be silent. You who remain on the plain, how long will you cut yourselves?

Baldness has come upon Gaza; Ashkelon has perished. O remnant of their valley, how long will you gash yourselves?

Gaza will be humiliated, its head shaved bald; Ashkelon will lie silent. You remnant from the Mediterranean coast, how long will you cut yourselves in mourning?

Baldness is coming to Gaza; Ashkelon will become silent. Remnant of their valley, how long will you gash yourself?

Baldness has come upon Gaza; Ashkelon has been destroyed. Remnant of their valley, How long will you gash yourself?

Baldness has come upon Gaza, Ashkelon is cut off With the remnant of their valley. How long will you cut yourself?

The people of Gaza will shave their heads in mourning. The people of Ashkelon will be struck dumb. How long will you gash yourselves to show your sorrow, you who remain of Philistia’s power?

Every head is shaved and every beard cut off; every hand is slashed and every waist is covered with sackcloth. (niv)

and all the foreign people there; all the kings of Uz; all the kings of the Philistines( those of Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the people left at Ashdod); (niv)

eighty men who had shaved off their beards, torn their clothes and cut themselves came from Shechem, Shiloh and Samaria, bringing grain offerings and incense with them to the house of the Lord. (niv)

Shave your head in mourning for the children in whom you delight; make yourself as bald as the vulture, for they will go from you into exile. (niv)

Gaza will lose her king and Ashkelon will be deserted.A mongrel people will occupy Ashdod, and I will put an end to the pride of the Philistines.I will take the blood from their mouths, the forbidden food from between their teeth. Those who are left will belong to our God and become a clan in Judah, and Ekron will be like the Jebusites. (niv)

Then the word of the Lord came to me: (niv)

Dibon goes up to its temple, to its high places to weep; Moab wails over Nebo and Medeba. Every head is shaved and every beard cut off. (niv)

So they shouted louder and slashed themselves with swords and spears, as was their custom, until their blood flowed. (niv)

He says,“ I will destroy you, and none will be left.”The land by the sea will become pastures having wells for shepherds and pens for flocks.That land will belong to the remnant of the people of Judah; there they will find pasture. In the evening they will lie down in the houses of Ashkelon. The Lord their God will care for them; he will restore their fortunes. (niv)

This is what the Lord says:“ For three sins of Gaza, even for four, I will not relent. Because she took captive whole communities and sold them to Edom,I will send fire on the walls of Gaza that will consume her fortresses.I will destroy the king of Ashdod and the one who holds the scepter in Ashkelon. I will turn my hand against Ekron, till the last of the Philistines are dead,” says the Sovereign Lord. (niv)

They will put on sackcloth and be clothed with terror. Every face will be covered with shame, and every head will be shaved. (niv)

For the day has come to destroy all the Philistines and to remove all survivors who could help Tyre and Sidon. The Lord is about to destroy the Philistines, the remnant from the coasts of Caphtor. (niv)

You are the children of the Lord your God. Do not cut yourselves or shave the front of your heads for the dead, (niv)

Judah also took Gaza, Ashkelon and Ekron— each city with its territory. (niv)
