付之於敵、巴比倫王、尼布甲尼撒、及其僕之手、厥後埃及之地有人居處、無與昔異、我耶和華已言之矣、

必付之於索其命者、即巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒及其臣僕之手、厥後伊及之地、仍有人居處、與昔無異、此乃主所言、○

I will give them into the hands of those who want to kill them— Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and his officers. Later, however, Egypt will be inhabited as in times past,” declares the Lord.

主耶和华如此说：巴比伦王的刀必临到你。

所以主耶和华如此说：我必使刀剑临到你，把人与牲畜从你中间剪除。埃及地必荒芜废弃，他们就知道我是耶和华。“因为法老说‘尼罗河是我的，是我所造的’，所以，看哪，我必与你和你的江河为敌，使埃及地，从密夺到色弗尼，直到古实边界，全然废弃荒芜。人的脚不经过，兽的蹄也不经过，四十年之久无人居住。我要使埃及地成为荒芜中最荒芜的地，使它的城镇变为荒废中最荒废的城镇，共四十年之久。我必将埃及人分散到列国，四散在列邦。“主耶和华如此说：满了四十年后，我必招聚分散在万民中的埃及人。我要令埃及被掳的人归回，使他们回到本地巴特罗。在那里，他们必成为弱小的国家，

到末后，我却要使摩押被掳的人归回。摩押受审判的话到此为止。这是耶和华说的。
