The Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says:“ I am about to bring punishment on Amon god of Thebes, on Pharaoh, on Egypt and her gods and her kings, and on those who rely on Pharaoh.

The Lord who rules over all is the God of Israel. He says,“ I am about to punish Amon, the god of Thebes. I will also punish Pharaoh. I will punish Egypt and its gods and kings. And I will punish those who depend on Pharaoh.

The Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, said:“ Behold, I am bringing punishment upon Amon of Thebes, and Pharaoh and Egypt and her gods and her kings, upon Pharaoh and those who trust in him.

The Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says:“ I will punish Amon, the god of Thebes, and all the other gods of Egypt. I will punish its rulers and Pharaoh, too, and all who trust in him.

因为那夜我要走遍埃及地，把埃及地一切头生的，无论是人是牲畜，都击杀了；我要对埃及所有的神明施行审判。我是耶和华。

以色列人必惊惶羞愧，因为他们仰望古实，以埃及为荣。“那时，沿海一带的居民必说：‘看哪，我们素来所仰望的，就是为躲避亚述王所逃往求救的，不过如此！我们怎能逃脱呢？’”

说：‘我们不留在这地，却要进入埃及地，在那里我们看不见战争，听不见角声，也不致缺食挨饿；我们要住在那里。’幸存的犹大人哪，你们现在要听耶和华的话；万军之耶和华—以色列的上帝如此说：‘你们若定意进入埃及，在那里寄居，你们所惧怕的刀剑在埃及地必追上你们，你们所惧怕的饥荒在埃及要紧紧跟随你们，你们必死在那里。

你能胜过挪亚们吗？它坐落在众河之间，周围有水，海作它的城郭，海作它的城墙。古实和埃及是它的力量，没有穷尽，弗人和路比人是它的帮手。

我要降火在玛各和海岛安然居住的人身上，他们就知道我是耶和华。“我要在我的子民以色列中彰显我的圣名，不容我的圣名再被亵渎，列国就知道我—耶和华是以色列中的圣者。

“我使你在列国，在你所不认识的列邦中灭亡。那时，我必使许多民族的心因你愁烦。当我在他们面前举起我的刀，我要使许多民族因你惊恐，他们的君王也必因你极其恐慌。在你仆倒的日子，他们各人为自己的性命时时战兢。主耶和华如此说：巴比伦王的刀必临到你。我必藉勇士的刀使你的军队仆倒；这些勇士都是列国中凶暴的人。他们必使埃及的骄傲归于无有，埃及的军队必被灭绝。

他们没有寻求我的指示，就起身下埃及去，要倚靠法老的庇护坚固自己，并投在埃及的荫下。但法老的庇护反成为你们的羞辱；你们投在埃及荫下，反使你们惭愧。

“主耶和华如此说：我要毁灭偶像，从挪弗除掉神像；不再有君王出自埃及地，我要使埃及地的人惧怕。我必令巴特罗荒凉，在琐安放火，向挪施行审判。我要将我的愤怒倾倒在训，埃及的堡垒上，要剪除挪的众民。我必在埃及放火，训必大大痛苦，挪被攻破，挪弗终日遭敌侵袭。

论埃及的默示。看哪，耶和华乘驾快云，临到埃及；埃及的偶像在他面前战兢，埃及人的心在里面消溶。

祸哉！那些下埃及求帮助的，他们仰赖马匹，倚靠甚多的战车，并倚靠强壮的骑兵，却不仰望以色列的圣者，也不求问耶和华。其实，耶和华有智慧，他降灾祸，并不撤回自己的话，却要兴起攻击作恶之家，攻击那帮助人作恶的。埃及人不过是人，并非上帝，他们的马不过是血肉，并不是灵。耶和华一伸手，那帮助人的必绊跌，受帮助的也必跌倒，都一同灭亡。

耶和华如此说：“倚靠人，以血肉为膀臂，心中离弃耶和华的，那人该受诅咒！他必像沙漠里的矮树，不见福乐来到；他要住在旷野干旱之处，无人居住的盐地。
