When Baruch son of Neriah wrote on a scroll the words Jeremiah the prophet dictated in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, Jeremiah said this to Baruch:

Jeremiah talked to Baruch, the son of Neriah. It was in the fourth year that Jehoiakim, the son of Josiah, was king of Judah. It was when Baruch had written down on a scroll the words Jeremiah the prophet told him to write. Jeremiah had said,

The word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke to Baruch the son of Neriah, when he wrote these words in a book at the dictation of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah:

The prophet Jeremiah gave a message to Baruch son of Neriah in the fourth year of the reign of Jehoiakim son of Josiah, after Baruch had written down everything Jeremiah had dictated to him. He said,

This is the word that the prophet Jeremiah spoke to Baruch son of Neriah when he wrote these words on a scroll at Jeremiah’s dictation in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah, king of Judah:

耶利米遂召尼利亞子巴錄至、巴錄以耶利米口傳耶和華所諭之言、書之於卷、

耶利米復取一卷、畀尼利亞子繕寫巴錄、彼由耶利米口、以猶大王約雅敬所焚前卷之言、書於其上、又增多詞、其義相同、

我既付契於尼利亞子巴錄、乃禱耶和華曰、

猶大王約西亞子約雅敬四年、即巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒元年、耶利米所得論猶大民之言、

約雅敬即位時、年二十有五、在耶路撒冷為王、歷十一年、行其上帝耶和華所惡、

猶大王約西亞子約雅敬即位之初、有言自耶和華出曰、

尼利亞子巴錄、循先知耶利米所命、在耶和華室、誦卷中耶和華之言、○猶大王約西亞子約雅敬五年九月、耶路撒冷居民、及自猶大諸邑、至耶路撒冷之眾、宣告禁食於耶和華前、

諸牧伯遣古示曾孫、示利米雅孫、尼探雅子猶底、詣巴錄曰、攜爾所誦、俾民聽聞之卷而至、尼利亞子巴錄、遂攜卷而至、眾語之曰、坐而誦之、俾我聞焉、巴錄誦之使聞、眾聞斯言、則懼、轉而相視、語巴錄曰、我必以斯言告王、又問巴錄曰、爾若何由其口而書此言、請以告我、巴錄曰、彼以口述於我、我以墨書於卷也、

王命王子耶拉篾、與亞斯列子西萊亞、亞伯疊子示利米雅、執繕寫巴錄、及先知耶利米、然耶和華匿之、○

惟尼利亞子巴錄慫慂爾以敵我、欲付我於迦勒底人手使之殺我、或虜我至巴比倫、於是加利亞子約哈難、與諸軍長、及庶民、咸不從耶和華之言、居猶大地、加利亞子約哈難、及諸軍長、遂攜猶大遺民、即自逐至之國、返而寄居猶大地者、男女幼稚王女、及侍衛長尼布撒拉旦、所付於沙番孫亞希甘子基大利之眾、與先知耶利米、尼利亞子巴錄、
