你当倚靠耶和华而行善，住在地上，以他的信实为粮；

先知与王说话的时候，王对他说：“谁立你作王的谋士呢？你住口吧！为何找打呢？”先知就止住了，又说：“你行这事，不听从我的劝戒，我知道神定意要灭你。”

‘你们若仍住在这地，我就建立你们，必不拆毁，栽植你们，并不拔出，因我为降与你们的灾祸后悔了。不要怕你们所怕的巴比伦王。’”耶和华说：“不要怕他！因为我与你们同在，要拯救你们脱离他的手。我也要使他发怜悯，好怜悯你们，叫你们归回本地。倘若你们说：‘我们不住在这地’，以致不听从耶和华你们神的话，

我就说，智慧胜过勇力；然而那贫穷人的智慧被人藐视，他的话也无人听从。
