Then they said to Jeremiah,“ We’ll do everything the Lord your God sends you to tell us to do. If we don’t, may he be a true and faithful witness against us.

于是他们对耶利米说：“我们若不照耶和华你的神差遣你来说的一切话行，愿耶和华在我们中间作真实诚信的见证。

于是他们对耶利米说：“我们若不照耶和华—你上帝差遣你说的一切话去做，愿耶和华在我们中间作真实可靠的见证。

于是他们对耶利米说：“我们若不照耶和华—你神差遣你说的一切话去做，愿耶和华在我们中间作真实可靠的见证。

他们说：“倘若我们不照你的上帝耶和华说的去做，愿诚实可靠的耶和华作证指控我们！

于是他们对耶利米说：“我们若不照着耶和华你的神差遣你到我们这里来所说的一切话去作，愿耶和华作真实和诚信的见证，指控我们。

於是他們對耶利米說：「我們若不照耶和華－你的神差遣你來說的一切話行，願耶和華在我們中間作真實誠信的見證。

於是他們對耶利米說：「我們若不照耶和華－你上帝差遣你說的一切話去做，願耶和華在我們中間作真實可靠的見證。

於是他們對耶利米說：「我們若不照耶和華－你神差遣你說的一切話去做，願耶和華在我們中間作真實可靠的見證。

他們說：「倘若我們不照你的上帝耶和華說的去做，願誠實可靠的耶和華作證指控我們！

於是他們對耶利米說：“我們若不照著耶和華你的神差遣你到我們這裡來所說的一切話去作，願耶和華作真實和誠信的見證，指控我們。

於是他們對耶利米說：『我們若不照永恆主你的上帝所差遣你來說的一切話行，願永恆主做真實而可靠的見證來責罰我們。

眾謂耶利米曰、爾上帝耶和華遣爾諭我之言、我儕若不盡從、願耶和華於爾我前、為誠實忠信之證、

眾告耶利米曰、凡爾之上帝耶和華命爾告我之事、我必遵行、望耶和華為證。

眾告耶利米曰、凡主爾之天主、遣爾諭我之言、我必遵行、主真實誠信、願主於爾我間為證、

Then they said to Jeremiah,“ May the Lord be a true and faithful witness against us if we do not act in accordance with everything the Lord your God sends you to tell us.

Then they said to Jeremiah,“ May the Lord be a true and faithful witness against us if we do not act according to all the word with which the Lord your God sends you to us.

Then they said to Jeremiah,“ May the Lord your God be a faithful witness against us if we refuse to obey whatever he tells us to do!

And they said to Jeremiah,“ May the LORD be a true and faithful witness against us if we don’t act according to every word the LORD your God sends you to tell us.

Then they said to Jeremiah,“ May the Lord be a true and faithful witness against us if we do not act in accordance with the whole message with which the Lord your God will send you to us.

So they said to Jeremiah,“ Let the Lord be a true and faithful witness between us, if we do not do according to everything which the Lord your God sends us by you.

Then they said to Jeremiah, Jehovah be a true and faithful witness amongst us, if we do not according to all the word wherewith Jehovah thy God shall send thee to us.

And they said to Jeremiah,“ As for every word the Lord your God sends you to tell us, if we don’t act accordingly, may the Lord be a true and faithful witness against us.

Then they said to Jeremiah, The LORD be a true and faithful witness between us, if we do not even according to all things for the which the LORD thy God shall send thee to us.

They answered Jeremiah,“ May the LORD be a true and faithful witness against us if we do not do just as the LORD sends you to tell us to do.

Then they said to Jeremiah,“ May Yahweh be a true and faithful witness among us, if we don’t do according to all the word with which Yahweh your God sends you to tell us.

Don’t treat my daughters badly. Don’t get married to any women besides my daughters. There isn’t anyone here to see what we’re doing. But remember that God is a witness between you and me.”

The elders of Gilead replied,“ The Lord is our witness. We’ll certainly do as you say.”

“ Here is what I command you to write to the church in Laodicea. Here are the words of Jesus, who is the Amen. What he speaks is faithful and true. He rules over what God has created. He says,

May grace and peace come to you from Jesus Christ. He is the faithful witness, so what he has shown can be trusted. He was the first to rise from the dead. He rules over the kings of the earth. Glory and power belong to Jesus Christ who loves us! He has set us free from our sins by pouring out his blood for us.

“ So I will come and put you on trial. I will be quick to bring charges against all of you,” says the Lord who rules over all.“ I will bring charges against you sinful people who do not have any respect for me. That includes those who practice evil magic. It includes those who commit adultery and those who tell lies in court. It includes those who cheat workers out of their pay. It includes those who treat widows badly. It also includes those who mistreat children whose fathers have died. And it includes those who take away the rights of outsiders in the courts.

You ask,“ Why?” It’s because the Lord is holding you responsible. He watches how you treat the wife you married when you were young. You have been unfaithful to her. You did it even though she’s your partner. You promised to stay married to her. And the Lord was a witness to it.

Listen to me, all you nations! Earth and everyone who lives in it, pay attention! The Lord and King will be a witness against you. The Lord will speak from his holy temple in heaven.

Samuel said to them,“ The Lord is a witness against you this day. And so is his anointed king. They are witnesses that I haven’t taken anything from any of you.”“ The Lord is a witness,” they said.

They make their promises in my name. They say,‘ You can be sure that the Lord is alive.’ But their promises can’t be trusted.”

Go near and listen to everything the Lord our God says. Then tell us what he tells you. We will listen and obey.”The Lord heard you when you spoke to me. He said to me,“ I have heard what these people said to you. Everything they said was good.But I wish they would always have respect for me in their hearts. I wish they would always obey all my commands. Then things would go well with them and their children forever.

“ Do not misuse the name of the Lord your God. The Lord will find guilty anyone who misuses his name.

I serve God with my whole heart. I preach the good news about his Son. God knows that I always remember you

They said to Moses,“ Speak to us yourself. Then we’ll listen. But don’t let God speak to us. If he does, we’ll die.”

Jonathan said to David,“ Go in peace. In the name of the Lord we’ve promised to be friends. We have said,‘ The Lord is a witness between you and me. He’s a witness between your children and my children forever.’ ” Then David left, and Jonathan went back to the town.
