耶和華又曰、當是時、國王牧伯喪膽、祭司先知駭愕。

“ In that day,” declares the Lord,“ the king and the officials will lose heart, the priests will be horrified, and the prophets will be appalled.”

“ A dark day is coming,” announces the Lord.“ The king and his officials will lose hope. The priests will be shocked. And the prophets will be terrified.”

“ In that day, declares the Lord, courage shall fail both king and officials. The priests shall be appalled and the prophets astounded.”

“ In that day,” says the Lord,“ the king and the officials will tremble in fear. The priests will be struck with horror, and the prophets will be appalled.”

“ On that day”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ the king and the officials will lose their courage. The priests will tremble in fear, and the prophets will be scared speechless.”

“ And it shall come about on that day,” declares the Lord,“ that the heart of the king and the hearts of the leaders will fail; and the priests will tremble, and the prophets will be astonished.”

“ And it shall come to pass in that day,” says the Lord,“ That the heart of the king shall perish, And the heart of the princes; The priests shall be astonished, And the prophets shall wonder.”

And it shall come to pass at that day, saith Jehovah, that the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder.

爾之群伯遁逃、不思挽弓、咸被俘囚、自遠方來、居於爾邦者、亦為所獲、我民見敗、我哭甚哀、雖有眷顧慰藉者、我弗受也。萬有之主耶和華、今在默示谷、降以大災、使民潰亂、遭敵人蹂躪、城垣傾圮、號呼之聲、徹於山岡。

維彼先知、見虛偽之異象、占無憑之卜筮、我亦罰之、不入我民之會、不錄於以色列之籍、亦不反其土地、使知我乃耶和華。蓋彼先知、誘惑我民、謂有平康、平康不至、若作垣墉、一人築之、而他人以不堅緻之泥塗之。爾當告塗之者云、淫雨必下、大雹必降、飄風驟起、擊而傾之、垣既傾矣、人將詰爾云、爾所塗者安在。主耶和華又曰、我怒震烈、忿氣殊張、必使飄風摧之、淫雨大雹撼之、毀之務盡。爾所塗之墉、我必毀之、使盡傾圮。址基畢露、爾曹偕沒、使知我乃耶和華。主耶和華曰、斯墉與塗者、可比以色列族之先知、彼言耶路撒冷必有平康、平康不至、故我毀墉、使塗之者俱沒、以雪我忿。

猶大人乎、爾曹躊躇而滿志、相望而驚疑、厥心昏迷、跬步不能自主、非因飲酒、乃因駭異、蓋耶和華使爾閉目酣睡、民長先知、均蔽厥心、

爾之先知預言、巴比倫王必不攻爾、侵伐斯土、今安在哉。

迦勒底人環攻其城、而陷之、武士出城、由門旁夾道、近於王囿、夤夜而遁、士卒四散、王望坦途而往、迦勒底軍追襲其後至耶利哥之坦途、執之、

詰朝拿八宿酲已解、其妻以實告之、拿八喪膽、屹焉如石。越十日、耶和華擊拿八遂死。

猶大王西底家與諸武士見此、則夤夜逃遁、有途近於王囿、有門在於二垣之間、由此以出、望平原而去、迦勒底人帥師、追及之、於耶利哥平原執之、解至哈末地之立拉、以見巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、請彼定擬。

其言曰、藐忽者乎、當爾之時、我將有所為、使爾見之、奇而駭絕、雖有人告爾、爾亦不信也、

自尊逮卑、貪婪無厭、先知祭司、俱言詐偽。醫民之傷、不過皮毛、謂有平康、平康不至。

巴比倫人曰、我罹患難、憂心戚戚、劬勞如臨產之婦、恐懼觳觫、不忍見聞、我心昏迷、戰栗特甚、深宵宴樂、忽變駭懼、

鎖安之牧伯、法老之謀士、忽為愚懵、焉能告法老曰、我乃先賢之後、前王之裔哉。萬有之主耶和華、已定厥命、降災埃及、若爾有賢人、必能知之、知之必能告爾。

迦勒底人環攻其城而陷之、武士由門旁夾道、近於王囿、夤夜而遁、士卒四散、王望坦途而往、迦勒底軍追襲其後、至耶利哥之坦途、

我被扑責、若草枯槁、飲食俱廢兮、

先知傳虛詞、祭司隨聲附和、國民以此為悅、將若之何。
