Disaster follows disaster; the whole land lies in ruins. In an instant my tents are destroyed, my shelter in a moment.

One trouble follows another. The whole land is destroyed. In an instant my tents are gone. My home disappears in a moment.

He has stretched out a line; He has not withdrawn His hand from destroying; Therefore He has caused the rampart and wall to lament; They languished together.Her gates have sunk into the ground; He has destroyed and broken her bars. Her king and her princes are among the nations; The Law is no more, And her prophets find no vision from the Lord.

Fear and a snare have come upon us, Desolation and destruction.

Let them be ashamed who persecute me, But do not let me be put to shame; Let them be dismayed, But do not let me be dismayed. Bring on them the day of doom, And destroy them with double destruction!

“ Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.”

Wail, for the day of the Lord is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty.

And blessed be His glorious name forever! And let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen.

Woe is me for my hurt! My wound is severe. But I say,“ Truly this is an infirmity, And I must bear it.”My tent is plundered, And all my cords are broken; My children have gone from me, And they are no more. There is no one to pitch my tent anymore, Or set up my curtains.

‘ And after all this, if you do not obey Me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

But these two things shall come to you In a moment, in one day: The loss of children, and widowhood. They shall come upon you in their fullness Because of the multitude of your sorceries, For the great abundance of your enchantments.

Alas for the day! For the day of the Lord is at hand; It shall come as destruction from the Almighty.

‘ Then, if you walk contrary to Me, and are not willing to obey Me, I will bring on you seven times more plagues, according to your sins.

Destruction comes; They will seek peace, but there shall be none.Disaster will come upon disaster, And rumor will be upon rumor. Then they will seek a vision from a prophet; But the law will perish from the priest, And counsel from the elders.

“ Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes.

Look upon Zion, the city of our appointed feasts; Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a quiet home, A tabernacle that will not be taken down; Not one of its stakes will ever be removed, Nor will any of its cords be broken.
