耶路撒冷歟、爾其洗心去惡、庶可獲救、爾懷惡念、伊於胡底、

耶路撒冷人乎、爾懷妄念、伊於何底、當滌爾私心、去爾惡念、可得拯救。

耶路撒冷歟、當洗心除惡、則可得救、爾衷懷妄念、將至何時、

Jerusalem, wash the evil from your heart and be saved. How long will you harbor wicked thoughts?

People of Jerusalem, wash your sins from your hearts and be saved. How long will you hold on to your evil thoughts?

O Jerusalem, wash your heart from evil, that you may be saved. How long shall your wicked thoughts lodge within you?

O Jerusalem, cleanse your heart that you may be saved. How long will you harbor your evil thoughts?

Wash the evil from your heart, Jerusalem, so that you will be delivered. How long will you harbor malicious thoughts?

Wash your heart from evil, Jerusalem, So that you may be saved. How long will your wicked thoughts Lodge within you?

O Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, That you may be saved. How long shall your evil thoughts lodge within you?

Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and make your hearts pure, you double- minded.

The wicked need to abandon their lifestyle and sinful people their plans. They should return to the LORD, and he will show mercy to them, and to their God, for he will freely forgive them.

Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that he may perhaps forgive you for the intent of your heart.

People of Jerusalem, I have seen your adulterous worship, your shameless prostitution to, and your lustful pursuit of, other gods. I have seen your disgusting acts of worship on the hills throughout the countryside. You are doomed to destruction! How long will you continue to be unclean?’”

For out of the heart come evil ideas, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.These are the things that defile a person; it is not eating with unwashed hands that defiles a person.”

“ How long will you simpletons love naiveté? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?

But the Lord said to him,“ Now you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and the plate, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness.

I hate people with divided loyalties, but I love your law.

“ Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is known by its fruit.

Wash! Cleanse yourselves! Remove your sinful deeds from my sight. Stop sinning!Learn to do what is right! Promote justice! Give the oppressed reason to celebrate! Take up the cause of the orphan! Defend the rights of the widow!Come, let’s consider your options,” says the LORD.“ Though your sins have stained you like the color red, you can become white like snow; though they are as easy to see as the color scarlet, you can become white like wool.If you have a willing attitude and obey, then you will again eat the good crops of the land.

Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup, so that the outside may become clean too!“ Woe to you, experts in the law and you Pharisees, hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs that look beautiful on the outside but inside are full of the bones of the dead and of everything unclean.

And again,“ The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.”

For although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or give him thanks, but they became futile in their thoughts and their senseless hearts were darkened.

If I had harbored sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.

Throw away all your sins you have committed and fashion yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! Why should you die, O house of Israel?
