哈大底謝屢與哈馬王陀以戰、陀以聞大衛擊敗哈大底謝全軍、遂遣子約蘭見大衛王問安、為之祝嘏、約蘭攜金銀銅諸器、

我之鼻息、即耶和華之受膏者、陷於其阱兮、我嘗言之、我必在其蔭下、處於列邦之中兮、

故耶和華使亞述王之軍長來攻之、執瑪拿西、繫之以鏈、以鈎鈎之、攜至巴比倫、

猶大因遭難及服役之勞、遷徙異地兮、居於列邦、不得綏安兮、迫者追之、及於狹處兮、

其人遂往窺地、自尋野至利合、及哈馬之道、

非利士之五伯、迦南人、西頓人、居利巴嫩山之希未人、自巴力黑們山、至哈馬道、

惟彼叛巴比倫王、遣使至埃及、欲其給以馬匹軍旅、如是能亨通乎、行是事者、得免難乎、爽約能遠害乎、彼既藐其誓、爽其約、主耶和華曰、我指己生而誓、彼必於立之為王者之都、與之同沒於巴比倫、其敵築壘建營、欲滅邑眾、法老雖率軍旅羣眾、亦不能助其戰、蓋王子既握手立約、乃藐誓爽約、必不能免難、主耶和華曰、我指己生而誓、彼藐我誓、爽我約、我必以此罪歸於其首、必張我網於其上、陷之於我擭、曳至巴比倫、在彼鞫其逆我之罪、其軍中之遁者、必隕於刃、遺民散於四方、爾則知乃我耶和華所言也、○

又有更大之風、為我而至、今我將行鞫於彼也、
