But if you will not surrender to the officers of the king of Babylon, this city will be given into the hands of the Babylonians and they will burn it down; you yourself will not escape from them.’”

耶和华如此说：这城必要交在巴比伦王军队的手中，他必攻取这城。”

耶和华如此说：“我必将犹大王西底家和他的首领，以及剩在这地耶路撒冷的余民，并住在埃及地的犹大人都交出来，好像那极坏、坏得不可吃的无花果。我必使他们交出来，在天下万国中抛来抛去，遭遇灾祸；在我赶逐他们到的各处成为凌辱、笑谈、讥刺、咒诅。我必使刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫临到他们，直到他们从我所赐给他们和他们列祖之地灭绝。”

因为犹大王西底家已将他囚禁，说：“你为什么预言说，耶和华如此说：‘我必将这城交在巴比伦王的手中，他必攻取这城。犹大王西底家必不能逃脱迦勒底人的手，定要交在巴比伦王的手中，要口对口彼此说话，眼对眼彼此相看。巴比伦王必将西底家带到巴比伦；西底家必住在那里，直到我眷顾他的时候。你们虽与迦勒底人争战，却不顺利。这是耶和华说的。’”

城被攻破，一切兵丁就在夜间从靠近王园两城中间的门逃跑。迦勒底人正在四围攻城，王就向亚拉巴逃走。迦勒底的军队追赶王，在耶利哥的平原追上他；他的全军都离开他四散了。迦勒底人就拿住王，带他到在利比拉的巴比伦王那里审判他。在西底家眼前杀了他的众子，并且剜了西底家的眼睛，用铜链锁着他，带到巴比伦去。巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒十九年五月初七日，巴比伦王的臣仆、护卫长尼布撒拉旦来到耶路撒冷，用火焚烧耶和华的殿和王宫，又焚烧耶路撒冷的房屋，就是各大户家的房屋。跟从护卫长迦勒底的全军就拆毁耶路撒冷四围的城墙。

犹大王约雅斤被掳后三十七年，巴比伦王以未米罗达元年十二月二十七日，使犹大王约雅斤抬头，提他出监；又对他说恩言，使他的位高过与他一同在巴比伦众王的位，给他脱了囚服。他终身常在巴比伦王面前吃饭。王赐他所需用的食物，日日赐他一份，终身都是这样。

人必将你的后妃和你的儿女带到迦勒底人那里；你也不得脱离他们的手，必被巴比伦王的手捉住；你也必使这城被火焚烧。’”

城被攻破，一切兵丁就在夜间从靠近王园两城中间的门，出城逃跑；迦勒底人正在四围攻城。他们就往亚拉巴逃去。迦勒底的军队追赶西底家王，在耶利哥的平原追上他。他的全军都离开他四散了。迦勒底人就拿住王，带他到在哈马地利比拉的巴比伦王那里；巴比伦王便审判他。巴比伦王在西底家眼前杀了他的众子，又在利比拉杀了犹大的一切首领，并且剜了西底家的眼睛，用铜链锁着他，带到巴比伦去，将他囚在监里，直到他死的日子。

迦勒底人必再来攻打这城，并要攻取，用火焚烧。

“耶和华以色列的神说，你去告诉犹大王西底家，耶和华如此说：‘我要将这城交付巴比伦王的手，他必用火焚烧。你必不能逃脱他的手，定被拿住，交在他的手中。你的眼要见巴比伦王的眼，他要口对口和你说话，你也必到巴比伦去。’

犹大王约雅斤和他母亲、臣仆、首领、太监一同出城，投降巴比伦王；巴比伦王便拿住他。那时是巴比伦王第八年。

耶路撒冷被攻取的时候，巴比伦王的首领尼甲沙利薛、三甲尼波、撒西金、拉撒力、尼甲沙利薛、拉墨，并巴比伦王其余的一切首领都来坐在中门。

我必将我的网撒在他身上，他必在我的网罗中缠住。我必带他到巴比伦，并要在那里因他干犯我的罪刑罚他。他的一切军队，凡逃跑的，都必倒在刀下；所剩下的，也必分散四方。你们就知道说这话的是我耶和华。”

你这受死伤行恶的以色列王啊，罪孽的尽头到了，受报的日子已到。主耶和华如此说：当除掉冠，摘下冕，景况必不再像先前；要使卑者升为高，使高者降为卑。我要将这国倾覆，倾覆，而又倾覆；这国也必不再有，直等到那应得的人来到，我就赐给他。”

迦勒底的军队追赶他们，在耶利哥的平原追上西底家，将他拿住，带到哈马地的利比拉、巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒那里；尼布甲尼撒就审判他。巴比伦王在利比拉、西底家眼前杀了他的众子，又杀了犹大的一切贵胄，并且剜西底家的眼睛，用铜链锁着他，要带到巴比伦去。

我必将我的网撒在他身上，他必在我的网罗中缠住。我必带他到迦勒底人之地的巴比伦；他虽死在那里，却看不见那地。
