Shephatiah son of Mattan, Gedaliah son of Pashhur, Jehukal son of Shelemiah, and Pashhur son of Malkijah heard what Jeremiah was telling all the people when he said,

Shephatiah, Gedaliah, Jehukal and Pashhur heard what Jeremiah was telling all the people. Shephatiah was the son of Mattan. Gedaliah was the son of Pashhur. Jehukal was the son of Shelemiah. And Pashhur was the son of Malkijah. These four men heard Jeremiah say,

Now Shephatiah the son of Mattan, Gedaliah the son of Pashhur, Jucal the son of Shelemiah, and Pashhur the son of Malchiah heard the words that Jeremiah was saying to all the people:

Now Shephatiah son of Mattan, Gedaliah son of Pashhur, Jehucal son of Shelemiah, and Pashhur son of Malkijah heard what Jeremiah had been telling the people. He had been saying,

And Shephatiah the son of Mattan, and Gedaliah the son of Pashhur, and Jucal the son of Shelemiah, and Pashhur the son of Malchijah, heard the words that Jeremiah spake unto all the people, saying,

Now Shephatiah son of Mattan, Gedaliah son of Pashhur, Jucal son of Shelemiah, and Pashhur son of Malchijah heard the words Jeremiah was speaking to all the people:

Then Shephatiah the son of Mattan, and Gedaliah the son of Pashur, and Jucal the son of Shelemiah, and Pashur the son of Malchiah, heard the words that Jeremiah had spoken unto all the people, saying,

Now Shephatiah son of Mattan, Gedaliah son of Pashhur, Jehucal son of Shelemiah, and Pashhur son of Malkijah had heard the things that Jeremiah had been telling the people. They had heard him say,

Shephatiah the son of Mattan, and Gedaliah the son of Pashhur, and Jucal the son of Shelemiah, and Pashhur the son of Malchijah, heard the words that Jeremiah spoke to all the people, saying,

示法提雅的子孫三百七十二人。

又有瑪基雅的曾孫、巴施戶珥的孫子、耶羅罕的兒子亞大雅，和亞第業的兒子瑪賽；亞第業是雅希細拉的兒子，雅希細拉是米書蘭的兒子，米書蘭是米實利密的兒子，米實利密是音麥的兒子，

『我們再三地囑咐了你們、不可奉這個名教訓人。你看，你們倒把你們的教訓充滿了耶路撒冷，想要引這人的血債歸到我們身上來呢！』

西底家王打發了瑪基雅的兒子巴施戶珥和祭司瑪西雅的兒子西番雅去見耶利米，說：『請為我們求問永恆主，因為巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒來攻擊我們；或者永恆主照他一切奇妙的作為來待我們，使巴比倫王撤圍離開我們而上去、也不一定。』那時有話語出於永恆主，而傳與耶利米。耶利米就對他們說：『你們要對西底家這麼說：「永恆主以色列的上帝這麼說：看吧，我必使你們手中的戰器、就是你們在城外跟巴比倫王和圍困你們的迦勒底人打仗的戰器、翻轉過來，使這些器械都聚集在這城中。我必以怒氣、烈怒和大惱怒用伸出來的手和大能力的膀臂親自攻擊你們。我必擊打這城的居民，連人帶牲口；他們都必遭遇大瘟疫而死。然後我要將猶大王西底家，永恆主發神諭說，跟他的臣僕和平民，就是在這城內、從瘟疫、刀劍和饑荒中所剩下來的人、都交在巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒手中，和他們的仇敵手中，以及那些尋索他們性命的人手中，巴比倫王必用刀肆意擊殺他們，並不顧惜，不可憐，不憐憫。」『對這人民你要說：「永恆主這麼說：看吧，我將活路和死路擺在你們面前。住在這城裏的、必因刀劍饑荒瘟疫而死；但出去投降那圍困你們、的迦勒底人的、必得活着，來掠得自己的性命。永恆主發神諭說，我向這城板着臉，降禍不降福；這城必交於巴比倫王手中，他必放火燒城。」

巴錄的子孫二千一百七十二人。

大祭司亞拿、和該亞法、約拿單、亞力山大、以及所有屬於大祭司家族的人、都在座。他們叫使徒站在當中，就查問說：『你們用甚麼能力、奉甚麼名、作這件事呢？』那時彼得、充滿聖靈、對他們說：『民間的議員和長老啊，今天我們若因在病人身上所行的善事而受審問這個人是因着甚麼而得救治，那麼你們眾人和以色列眾民就該知道，是因着你們所釘十字架的、上帝從人中所甦活起來的、拿撒勒人耶穌基督的名；是因着這個、這人才站在你們面前、康健無病的。

西底家王打發了示利米雅的兒子猶甲、和祭司瑪西雅的兒子西番雅去見神言人耶利米，說：『請為我們禱告永恆主我們的上帝。』那時耶利米還在人民中間出入，因為人還沒有把他下在監裏。

使徒正對人民講話的時候、祭司長們和守殿官跟撒都該人忽然來了，很討厭使徒教訓人民，傳揚耶穌身上所發生的、那從死人中起來的復活，

還有他們的族弟兄在殿裏工作的八百二十二人；又有耶羅罕的兒子亞大雅；耶羅罕是毘拉利的兒子，毘拉利是暗洗的兒子，暗洗是撒迦利亞的兒子，撒迦利亞是巴施戶珥的兒子，巴施戶珥是瑪基雅的兒子；
