『永恆主以色列之上帝這麼說：猶大王打發了你們來求問我，你們要對他這麼說：「看吧，法老的軍隊、那出來幫助你們的，必回埃及它本地去。

“耶和华以色列的神如此说：犹大王打发你们来求问我，你们要如此对他说：‘那出来帮助你们法老的军队必回埃及本国去。

“耶和华—以色列的上帝如此说：你们要对派你们来求问我的犹大王如此说：‘看哪，那出来帮助你们的法老军队必回埃及本国去。

“耶和华—以色列的神如此说：你们要对派你们来求问我的犹大王如此说：‘看哪，那出来帮助你们的法老军队必回埃及本国去。

“这是以色列的上帝耶和华的话，‘犹大王派你们来求问我，你们告诉他，前来支援你们的法老军队必中途返回埃及，

“耶和华以色列的神这样说：你们要对差派你们来求问我的犹大王这样说：‘看哪！那出来帮助你们的法老的军队，必回到他们的埃及本地去。

「耶和華－以色列的神如此說：猶大王打發你們來求問我，你們要如此對他說：『那出來幫助你們法老的軍隊必回埃及本國去。

「耶和華－以色列的上帝如此說：你們要對派你們來求問我的猶大王如此說：『看哪，那出來幫助你們的法老軍隊必回埃及本國去。

「耶和華－以色列的神如此說：你們要對派你們來求問我的猶大王如此說：『看哪，那出來幫助你們的法老軍隊必回埃及本國去。

「這是以色列的上帝耶和華的話，『猶大王派你們來求問我，你們告訴他，前來支援你們的法老軍隊必中途返回埃及，

“耶和華以色列的神這樣說：你們要對差派你們來求問我的猶大王這樣說：‘看哪！那出來幫助你們的法老的軍隊，必回到他們的埃及本地去。

以色列之上帝耶和華云、其告遣爾問我之猶大王曰、法老之軍旅出以助爾、必返埃及、入其故土、

以色列族之上帝耶和華云、猶大王既遣爾、諮諏於我、爾當告之曰、法老之軍旅、雖來輔翼、終歸埃及、

主以色列之天主如是云、猶大王遣爾曹來、求問於我、爾曹當如是告之曰、法老之軍旅、出以助爾、必歸其地伊及、

“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Tell the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of me,‘ Pharaoh’s army, which has marched out to support you, will go back to its own land, to Egypt.

The Lord is the God of Israel. He says,“ The king of Judah has sent you to ask me for advice. Tell him,‘ Pharaoh’s army has marched out to help you. But it will go back to its own land. It will return to Egypt.

“ Thus says the Lord, God of Israel: Thus shall you say to the king of Judah who sent you to me to inquire of me,‘ Behold, Pharaoh’s army that came to help you is about to return to Egypt, to its own land.

“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: The king of Judah sent you to ask me what is going to happen. Tell him,‘ Pharaoh’s army is about to return to Egypt, though he came here to help you.

“ This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: This is what you will say to Judah’s king, who is sending you to inquire of me:‘ Watch: Pharaoh’s army, which has come out to help you, is going to return to its own land of Egypt.

“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel says:‘ This is what you are to say to the king of Judah, who sent you to Me to inquire of Me:“ Behold, Pharaoh’s army, which has come out to help you, is going to return to its own land of Egypt.

“ Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel,‘ Thus you shall say to the king of Judah, who sent you to Me to inquire of Me:“ Behold, Pharaoh’s army which has come up to help you will return to Egypt, to their own land.

Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, Thus shall ye say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to inquire of me: Behold, Pharaoh’s army, which is come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land.

“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: This is what you will say to Judah’s king, who is sending you to inquire of Me: Watch: Pharaoh’s army, which has come out to help you, is going to return to its own land of Egypt.

Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to enquire of me; Behold, Pharaoh’s army, which is come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land.

“ The LORD God of Israel says,‘ Give a message to the king of Judah who sent you to ask me to help him. Tell him,“ The army of Pharaoh that was on its way to help you will go back home to Egypt.

“ Yahweh, the God of Israel, says,‘ You shall tell the king of Judah, who sent you to me to inquire of me:“ Behold, Pharaoh’s army, which has come out to help you, will return to Egypt into their own land.

我們的眼還直昏花迷糊，盼着幫助我們的，而盼個空；我們在瞭望台上直瞭望着不能拯救我們、的國。

至於差遣你們來尋問永恆主的那猶大王、你們要這樣對他說：永恆主以色列的上帝這麼說：論到你所聽見的話，

『請為我們求問永恆主，因為巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒來攻擊我們；或者永恆主照他一切奇妙的作為來待我們，使巴比倫王撤圍離開我們而上去、也不一定。』那時有話語出於永恆主，而傳與耶利米。

西底家王打發了示利米雅的兒子猶甲、和祭司瑪西雅的兒子西番雅去見神言人耶利米，說：『請為我們禱告永恆主我們的上帝。』

有禍啊！那些下埃及去求幫助的！他們依靠馬匹，倚賴車輛，因為很多；他們倚賴馬兵，因為馬兵極強壯，他們卻不仰望以色列之聖者，永恆主、他們竟不求問！其實永恆主有智慧，他會降災禍的；他的話他絕不收回，他卻要起來攻擊那作壞事者的家，攻擊那幫助作孽之人的。埃及人不過是人，並不是神；他們的馬不過是血肉，並不是靈；永恆主一伸手，那幫助人的就絆跌，那受幫助的也必跌倒，二者就同歸於盡。

敵人倒土堆築了壘要剪滅許多人時，法老雖領了大軍隊大羣眾人也不能在戰陣上跟他周旋呀。

永恆主這麼說：『那倚靠世人、以人的血肉為自己的膀臂、其心卻轉離永恆主的、那種人該受咒詛。他正像原野上的杜松，福樂來到，他也看不見，他卻要住在曠野焦乾之處，無人居住之鹹地。

你為甚麼這樣東奔西跑，要改變你的路呢？你必因埃及而蒙羞，像你因亞述而蒙羞一樣。

『埃及一切的居民就知道我乃是永恆主，因為他們向以色列家成了蘆葦的扶杖。他們一抓住你，你就破裂，刺開了他們的手；他們靠着你，你就折斷，閃了他們的腰；

沒有智慧、沒有明達、沒有謀略能敵得過永恆主。

永恆主發神諭說：『有禍啊，這些悖逆的兒女！設下計謀，卻不由於我！奠酒結盟，卻不由於我的靈，以致罪上加罪！他們起身下埃及去，並沒有求問我的許可，就要在法老的保護下去逃難，在埃及的蔭庇下去躲避！故此法老的保護必變為你們的慚愧，躲避於埃及的蔭庇下必成為你們的恥辱。因為他的首領雖已在瑣安，他的使者雖抵達了哈內斯，但他們都必因無益的族民而慚愧；那族民帶來的並不是幫助，也不是益處，只是慚愧與羞辱而已。』他們用南地的牲畜馱財物，經過艱難困苦之地，有公獅、母獅、蝮蛇和能飛的火蛇之地，把資財馱在驢駒的脊背上，將寶物馱在駱駝的肉鞍上，到無益的族民那裏去。

埃及必不再做以色列家所倚靠的；以後呢、以色列家每逢轉臉仰望埃及人時，他們總會回想起他們的罪孽來。他們就知道我乃是主永恆主。』
