So King Zedekiah commanded that Jeremiah not be returned to the dungeon. Instead, he was imprisoned in the courtyard of the guard in the royal palace. The king also commanded that Jeremiah be given a loaf of fresh bread every day as long as there was any left in the city. So Jeremiah was put in the palace prison.

So King Zedekiah gave orders, and Jeremiah was placed in the guard’s courtyard. He was given a loaf of bread each day from the bakers’ street until all the bread was gone from the city. So Jeremiah remained in the guard’s courtyard.

这样，耶利米留在卫兵的院子里，直到耶路撒冷被攻取的那一天。

“我主我王啊！这些人对耶利米先知所作的一切真是恶毒，他们把他丢在井里；在那地方他必饿死，因为城里再没有粮食了。”

那时，巴比伦王的军队正在围困耶路撒冷，耶利米先知被囚禁在犹大王宫中卫兵的院子里。

四月九日，城里饥荒非常严重，甚至那地的人民都断了粮食。

这样的人必居住在高处，他的保障必在坚固的磐石上，他的粮食必有供应，他的水源永不断绝。

耶和华的眼睛看顾敬畏他的人，和那些仰望他慈爱的人；要搭救他们的性命脱离死亡，使他们在饥荒中可以存活。

彼得就这样被拘留在监里；但教会却为他迫切地祈求神。

你们要先求他的国和他的义，这一切都必加给你们。

保罗在自己所租的房子里，住了整整两年。凡来见他的人，他都接待，

（我为这奥秘作了被捆锁的使者），也使我按着应当说的，放胆宣讲这福音的奥秘。

夜里每到交更的时分，你要起来呼喊；在主面前你要倾心如水！你的孩童在各街头上因饥饿而昏倒，你要为他们的性命向主举手祷告。“耶和华啊，求你观看！求你鉴察！你曾这样对待过谁呢？难道妇人应该吃掉自己所生的，就是自己所抚养的婴孩吗？难道祭司和先知应该在主的圣所里被杀害吗？”

君王的心在耶和华手中，好像水沟的水，他可以随意转移。

我们到了罗马，保罗获准独自与看守他的士兵居住。

你要喝那溪里的水，我已经吩咐乌鸦在那里供养你。”于是以利亚去了，照着耶和华的话行了；他去住在约旦河东面的基立溪旁。乌鸦早晨给他送饼和肉来，晚上也送饼和肉来，他也喝那溪里的水。

我叔叔的儿子哈拿篾果然照着耶和华的话，到卫兵的院子里来见我，对我说：‘请你买下我在便雅悯境内亚拿突的那块田地，因为你有那产业的继承权，以及近亲的权利和义务；请你把它买下吧。’于是我知道这是耶和华的话。

我的眼睛因流泪而失明，我的心肠激动，我的肝胆倾倒在地，都因我的子民（“我的子民”原文作“我子民的女子”）遭毁灭，孩童和婴儿在城里的街上昏倒。他们像被刺伤的人昏倒在城里街上的时候，他们在母亲的怀里快要丧命的时候，他们就问母亲：“五谷和酒在哪里呢？”

我为了这福音受了磨难，甚至像犯人一样被捆绑起来；可是，神的话却不被捆绑。

那些死于刀下的比饿死的还好；饿死的因缺乏田间的出产，就日渐消瘦而死亡。慈心的妇人亲手烹煮自己所生的孩子；在我众民（“我众民”原文作“我子民的女子”）遭毁灭的时候，孩子竟成了母亲的食物。

人所行的，若是蒙耶和华喜悦，耶和华也使他的仇敌与他和好。

你要倚靠耶和华，并要行善；你要住在地上，以信实为粮食。

他们必把你围困在你的各城里，直到在你的全境内你所倚靠高大和坚固的城墙都被攻陷；他们必把你围困在耶和华你的神赐给你的全地的各城里。你在仇敌围困和窘迫你的时候，要吃你身所生的，就是吃耶和华你的神赐给你的儿女的肉。你们中间温柔嫩弱的男人，必敌视自己的兄弟、怀中的妻子和余剩的儿女；甚至在你的仇敌围困和窘迫你在各城里的时候，他要吃自己儿女的肉，却不肯分给他们任何人，因为他没有什么剩下的。你们中间温柔娇嫩的妇人，素来因为温柔娇嫩不肯把脚掌踏在地上，现在必敌视自己怀中的丈夫和自己的儿女。她暗中把自己两腿之间出来的胞衣，和自己生的儿女吃掉，因为在你的仇敌围困和窘迫你在各城里的时候，她什么都没有了。

所以，不要以给我们的主作见证当作羞耻，也不要以我这为主被囚的当作羞耻，却要为了福音的缘故，靠着神的大能，与我同受磨难。

婴儿的舌头因干渴而紧贴上膛；孩童求饼，却没有人分给他们。那些从前吃美食的，现今都在街上孤单凄凉；那些从前在豪奢生活中长大的，现今却在垃圾堆中打滚。

过了两年，波求．非斯都接了腓力斯的任；腓力斯为要讨好犹太人，就把保罗留在监里。

在患难的时候，他们必不蒙羞；在饥荒的日子，他们必得饱足。

我们因饥饿而发烧，我们的皮肤好像火炉一般的热。

把耶利米从卫兵的院子里提出来，交给沙番的孙子、亚希甘的儿子基大利，叫他带耶利米回家去。这样，耶利米就住在人民中间。耶利米还监禁在卫兵的院子里的时候，耶和华的话临到他，说：

因此，我这为主被囚禁的劝你们：行事为人，要配得上你们所蒙的呼召，

耶和华的圣民哪！你们要敬畏他，因为敬畏他的一无所缺。少壮狮子有时还缺食挨饿，但寻求耶和华的，什么好处都不缺。
