凡背我約、不遵其約之言、即剖犢而過其間、於我前所立者、

昔猶大耶路撒冷方伯宦豎、祭司庶民、宰犢而中判之、由其中以過、立盟約於我前、厥後復渝此盟、不踐其言、

猶大及耶路撒冷之侯伯、宦官、祭司、及國之眾民、宰犢中判、由其中經過、立盟約於我前、後又背此約、不踐約言、

Those who have violated my covenant and have not fulfilled the terms of the covenant they made before me, I will treat like the calf they cut in two and then walked between its pieces.

Those people who have broken my covenant will be punished. They have not lived up to the terms of the covenant they made in front of me. When you made that covenant, you cut a calf in two. Then you walked between its pieces. Now I will cut you to pieces.

Because you have broken the terms of our covenant, I will cut you apart just as you cut apart the calf when you walked between its halves to solemnize your vows.

As for those who disobeyed my covenant, not keeping the terms of the covenant they made before me, I will treat them like the calf they cut in two in order to pass between its pieces.

I will give the people who have violated My covenant, who have not fulfilled the words of the covenant which they made before Me, when they cut the calf in two and passed between its parts—

I will punish those people who have violated their covenant with me. I will make them like the calf they cut in two and passed between its pieces. I will do so because they did not keep the terms of the covenant they made in my presence.

亞伯蘭就取了這些來，每樣劈開，分成兩半，一半對着一半地擺列，只有鳥沒有劈開。

你用口吹角吧！敵人如鷹來攻打耶和華的家；因為這民違背我的約，干犯我的律法。

他們卻如亞當背約，在境內向我行事詭詐。

「在你們中間，在耶和華－你神所賜你的諸城中，無論哪座城裏，若有人，或男或女，行耶和華－你神眼中看為惡的事，違背了他的約，

日落天黑，不料有冒煙的爐並燒着的火把從那些肉塊中經過。當那日，耶和華與亞伯蘭立約，說：「我已賜給你的後裔，從埃及河直到幼發拉底大河之地，

大能者神－耶和華已經發言招呼天下，從日出之地到日落之處。

你們若違背耶和華－你們神吩咐你們所守的約，去事奉別神，叩拜他，耶和華的怒氣必向你們發作，使你們在他所賜的美地上速速滅亡。」

以色列人犯了罪，違背了我所吩咐他們的約，取了當滅的物；又偷竊，又行詭詐，又把那當滅的放在他們的家具裏。
