Then this city will bring me renown, joy, praise and honor before all nations on earth that hear of all the good things I do for it; and they will be in awe and will tremble at the abundant prosperity and peace I provide for it.’

And this city shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth who shall hear of all the good that I do for them. They shall fear and tremble because of all the good and all the prosperity I provide for it.

Then this city will bring me joy, glory, and honor before all the nations of the earth! The people of the world will see all the good I do for my people, and they will tremble with awe at the peace and prosperity I provide for them.

This city will bear on my behalf a name of joy, praise, and glory before all the nations of the earth, who will hear of all the prosperity I will give them. They will tremble with awe because of all the good and all the peace I will bring about for them.

也不要使他歇息，直等他建立耶路撒冷，使耶路撒冷在地上為人所讚美。

他使我口唱新歌，就是讚美我們上帝的話。許多人必看見而懼怕，並要倚靠耶和華。

我們所有的仇敵聽見了，四圍的列國就懼怕，愁眉不展，因為他們知道這工作得以完成，是出於我們的上帝。

耶和華－你的上帝在你中間大有能力，施行拯救。他必因你歡欣喜樂，他在愛中靜默，且因你而喜樂歡呼。我要聚集那些因無節期而愁煩的人，他們曾遠離你，是你的重擔和羞辱。那時，看哪，我必對付所有苦待你的人，拯救瘸腿的，召集被趕出的；那些在全地受羞辱的，我必使他們得稱讚，享名聲。那時，我必領你們回來，召集你們；我使你們被擄之人歸回的時候，必使你們在地上的萬民中享名聲，得稱讚；這是耶和華說的。」

那時，我們滿口喜笑、滿舌歡呼；那時，列國中就有人說：「耶和華為他們行了大事！」耶和華果然為我們行了大事，我們就歡喜。

後來以色列人必歸回，尋求耶和華－他們的上帝和他們的王大衛。在末後的日子，他們必敬畏耶和華，領受他的恩惠。

那時，人必稱耶路撒冷為耶和華的寶座；萬國聚集在那裏，為耶和華的名來到耶路撒冷，他們必不再隨從自己頑梗的惡心行事。

少女以色列啊，我要再建立你，你就得以建立；你必再拿起手鼓，隨着歡樂的舞者而出。

耶利米先知從耶路撒冷送信給被擄倖存的長老，以及祭司、先知，和尼布甲尼撒從耶路撒冷擄到巴比倫去的眾百姓。

你們以手所做的，在寄居的埃及地向別神燒香，惹我發怒，使你們被剪除，在天下萬國中受詛咒羞辱。

「看哪，我要使耶路撒冷成為令四圍列國百姓昏醉的杯；耶路撒冷被圍困，猶大也一樣受困。

列國看見，雖大有勢力仍覺慚愧；他們必用手摀口，掩耳不聽。他們要舔土如蛇，又如地上爬行的動物，戰戰兢兢離開他們的營寨；他們必畏懼耶和華－我們的上帝，也必因你而害怕。

「萬軍之耶和華如此說：將來還有眾百姓和許多城鎮的居民要來。這城的居民必到那城，說：『我們快去懇求耶和華的恩，尋求萬軍之耶和華；我自己也要去。』必有許多民族和強盛的國家來到耶路撒冷尋求萬軍之耶和華，懇求耶和華的恩。萬軍之耶和華如此說：在那些日子，列國中說各種語言的人，必有十個人強拉住一個猶大人衣服的邊，說：『我們要與你們同去，因為我們聽見上帝與你們同在了。』」

地上所有的邦國聽見耶和華打敗以色列的仇敵，就都懼怕上帝。

萬民聽見就戰抖；疼痛抓住非利士的居民。那時，以東的族長驚惶，摩押的英雄被戰兢抓住，迦南所有的居民都融化。驚駭恐懼臨到他們；耶和華啊，因你膀臂的大能，他們如石頭寂靜不動，等候你百姓過去，等候你所贖的百姓過去。

王的諭旨和敕令所到的各省各城，猶太人都歡喜快樂，擺設宴席，以那日為吉日。國中許多民族的人因懼怕猶太人，就自稱為猶太人。

列國要看見你的公義，列王要看見你的榮耀。你必得新的名字，是耶和華親口起的。你在耶和華的手中成為華冠，在你上帝的掌上成為冠冕。

我就必使這殿如示羅，使這城成為地上萬國所詛咒的。』」

人稱他們為「聖民」，為「耶和華救贖的民」，你也必稱為「受眷顧的」，為「不被撇棄的城」。
