“ Thus says the Lord of hosts: In this place that is waste, without man or beast, and in all of its cities, there shall again be habitations of shepherds resting their flocks.

萬有之主如是云、斯地之諸邑悉荒蕪、無人無畜、厥後仍有牧場、牧人仍使群羊安息在彼、

“ This is what the Lord Almighty says:‘ In this place, desolate and without people or animals— in all its towns there will again be pastures for shepherds to rest their flocks.

The Lord who rules over all says,“ This place is a desert. It does not have any people or animals in it. But there will again be grasslands near all its towns. Shepherds will rest their flocks there.

“ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: This land— though it is now desolate and has no people and animals— will once more have pastures where shepherds can lead their flocks.

“ This is what the LORD of Armies says: In this desolate place— without people or animals — and in all its cities there will once more be a grazing land where shepherds may rest flocks.

“ This is what the Lord of armies says:‘ There will again be in this place which is waste, without man or animal, and in all its cities, a pasture for shepherds who rest their flocks.

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ In this place which is desolate, without man and without beast, and in all its cities, there shall again be a dwelling place of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Yet again shall there be in this place, which is waste, without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, a habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.

“ This is what the Lord of Hosts says: In this desolate place— without man or beast— and in all its cities there will once more be a grazing land where shepherds may rest flocks.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing[ their] flocks to lie down.

“ I, the LORD who rules over all, say:‘ This place will indeed lie in ruins. There will be no people or animals in it. But there will again be in it and in its towns sheepfolds where shepherds can rest their sheep.

Yahweh of Armies says:“ Yet again there will be in this place, which is waste, without man and without animal, and in all its cities, a habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.

Sharon shall become a pasture for flocks, and the Valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down, for my people who have sought me.

And you, O seacoast, shall be pastures, with meadows for shepherds and folds for flocks.The seacoast shall become the possession of the remnant of the house of Judah, on which they shall graze, and in the houses of Ashkelon they shall lie down at evening. For the Lord their God will be mindful of them and restore their fortunes.

and say,‘ O Lord, you have said concerning this place that you will cut it off, so that nothing shall dwell in it, neither man nor beast, and it shall be desolate forever.’

As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his sheep that have been scattered, so will I seek out my sheep, and I will rescue them from all places where they have been scattered on a day of clouds and thick darkness.And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land. And I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the ravines, and in all the inhabited places of the country.I will feed them with good pasture, and on the mountain heights of Israel shall be their grazing land. There they shall lie down in good grazing land, and on rich pasture they shall feed on the mountains of Israel.I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I myself will make them lie down, declares the Lord God.

And concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah you shall say,‘ Thus says the Lord, You have burned this scroll, saying,“ Why have you written in it that the king of Babylon will certainly come and destroy this land, and will cut off from it man and beast?”

And Judah and all its cities shall dwell there together, and the farmers and those who wander with their flocks.

Fields shall be bought in this land of which you are saying,‘ It is a desolation, without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.’Fields shall be bought for money, and deeds shall be signed and sealed and witnessed, in the land of Benjamin, in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, in the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the Shephelah, and in the cities of the Negeb; for I will restore their fortunes, declares the Lord.”

And people shall come from the cities of Judah and the places around Jerusalem, from the land of Benjamin, from the Shephelah, from the hill country, and from the Negeb, bringing burnt offerings and sacrifices, grain offerings and frankincense, and bringing thank offerings to the house of the Lord.

“ But you, O mountains of Israel, shall shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit to my people Israel, for they will soon come home.For behold, I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you shall be tilled and sown.And I will multiply people on you, the whole house of Israel, all of it. The cities shall be inhabited and the waste places rebuilt.And I will multiply on you man and beast, and they shall multiply and be fruitful. And I will cause you to be inhabited as in your former times, and will do more good to you than ever before. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

I will restore Israel to his pasture, and he shall feed on Carmel and in Bashan, and his desire shall be satisfied on the hills of Ephraim and in Gilead.In those days and in that time, declares the Lord, iniquity shall be sought in Israel, and there shall be none, and sin in Judah, and none shall be found, for I will pardon those whom I leave as a remnant.

Those of the Negeb shall possess Mount Esau, and those of the Shephelah shall possess the land of the Philistines; they shall possess the land of Ephraim and the land of Samaria, and Benjamin shall possess Gilead.The exiles of this host of the people of Israel shall possess the land of the Canaanites as far as Zarephath, and the exiles of Jerusalem who are in Sepharad shall possess the cities of the Negeb.
