亦必雙手抱頭、自彼而歸、因我已棄爾所恃者、爾不能因之得利、

然爾猶大王西底家、宜聽主言、主論爾如是云、爾必不亡於刃、乃將平安而死、人必為爾焚香品、焚香品或作焚物如為爾列祖、爾前之先王所焚者然、人亦為爾哀哭曰、哀哉我主云、主曰、此我已言之、

率我儕者乃天主、亦有其祭司偕我儕、吹角以攻爾曹、以色列人歟、勿與主爾列祖之天主戰、必不獲勝、必不獲勝原文作必不亨通

我為彼張我網、使陷我罟、攜至迦勒底之巴比倫、然不得見其地、亦必死於彼、

攻爾之迦勒底人、假使爾擊其全軍、其中惟遺受傷之人、亦各於幕中起、以火焚燬斯邑、○

耶何耶大子撒迦利雅感天主之神、立於民前、告之曰、天主如是云、爾違主命何故、爾必不亨通、爾棄主、主亦棄爾、

以色列之天主如是云、巴比倫王及迦勒底人於城外圍困爾、爾曹手執器械、欲與之戰、我必使爾器械不利而反退、並集迦勒底人入於斯邑、並集迦勒底人入於斯邑或作使仍集於斯邑我必施展大能巨力、發大威盛怒烈忿以攻爾、

人之智慧聰明謀畧、在主前無足稱道、

摩西曰、何為違主之命、此事不能亨通、
