The people of Israel and Judah have provoked me by all the evil they have done— they, their kings and officials, their priests and prophets, the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem.

The people of Israel and Judah have made me very angry. They have done many evil things. They, their kings and officials have sinned. So have their priests and prophets. And the people of Judah and Jerusalem have also sinned.

“ The sins of Israel and Judah— the sins of the people of Jerusalem, the kings, the officials, the priests, and the prophets— have stirred up my anger.

耶和华啊！我们和我们的君王、领袖、列祖，都满面羞愧，因为我们得罪了你。

嗐！犯罪的国，罪孽深重的子民，行恶的子孙，败坏的儿女！他们离弃了耶和华，藐视以色列的圣者，他们转离了他。你们为什么屡次悖逆，还要受责打吗？你们整个头都受了伤，整个心都发昏了。从脚掌到头顶，没有一处是完全的；尽是创伤、鞭痕和流血的伤口；没有挤干净伤口，没有包扎，也没有用膏油滋润。

“贼被捉拿时怎样羞愧，以色列家和他们的君王、领袖、祭司和先知，也都怎样羞愧。

你的官长存心悖逆，与盗贼同伙；人都贪爱贿赂，追索私酬；他们不替孤儿伸冤，寡妇的案件也呈不到他们面前。

从我们列祖的日子直到今日，我们罪恶深重，由于我们的罪孽，我们和我们的王，以及祭司，都被交在各地的列王手中：被刀杀、被掳掠、被抢夺，丢脸蒙羞，就像今天的光景一样。

我说：“雅各的首领，你们要听，以色列家的官长，你们也要听；难道你们不知道公平吗？然而，你们恨恶良善，喜爱邪恶，从人身上剥皮，从人骨头上剔肉。你们吃我民的肉，剥他们的皮，打断他们的骨头，切成像锅里的块，像釜中的肉块。那时，他们要向耶和华呼求，耶和华却不应允他们。到那时，耶和华必掩面不顾他们，因为他们行了恶事。”关于那些使我民走迷路的先知，耶和华这样说：“他们的牙齿有所咀嚼的时候，就大叫‘平安’；谁不把食物给他们吃，他们就攻击那人。”

这叛逆、污秽、欺压人的城有祸了！她不听话，也不受管教；她不倚靠耶和华，也不亲近她的神。城中的领袖都是咆哮的狮子，城中的审判官是夜间的豺狼，什么都不留到早晨。城中的先知都是轻浮诡诈的人；城中的祭司亵渎圣物，违犯律法。

其中的先知叛逆，像吼叫的狮子撕碎猎物；他们把人吞吃，抢夺财物和珍宝，使其中寡妇的数目增多。这地的祭司违反我的律法，亵渎我的圣物；他们不分别圣俗，也不教导人分辨什么是洁净的和不洁净的，又掩目不理我的安息日，以致我在他们中间被亵渎。其中的官长好像撕碎猎物的豺狼，流人的血，灭人的命，为要得不义之财。这地的先知用灰泥给他们粉刷墙壁，为他们见虚假的异象，行骗人的占卜，说：‘主耶和华这样说’，其实当时耶和华并没有说话。这地的人民常常欺压人，惯行抢掠，亏待困苦穷乏的人，毫无公理地去欺压寄居的人。

因此，耶和华在一日之间，必从以色列中剪除头和尾、棕枝与芦苇。长老和尊贵人就是头；用谎言教导人的先知就是尾。

看哪！以色列的领袖们恃着自己的能力，在你里面流人的血。

“我们的神啊，你是至大、全能、至可畏、守约施慈爱的神，现在求你不要把我们、我们的君王和领袖、我们的祭司和先知、我们的列祖和你的众民，从亚述列王的日子直到今日所遭遇的一切苦难，看为小事。在一切临到我们身上的事上，你都是公义的；因为你所行的是信实的，我们所行的是邪恶的。我们的君王和领袖，我们的祭司和列祖，都没有遵行你的律法，也没有留心听从你的诫命和你向他们郑重的警告。

没有听从你的仆人众先知，他们奉你的名向我们的君王、领袖、列祖和国中所有的人民说话。

雅各家的首领，你们要听这个，以色列家的官长，你们也要听；你们厌恶公平，屈枉正直，用人血建锡安，以罪孽造耶路撒冷。城中的首领为贿赂而审判，祭司为薪俸而教导，先知为银子说默示，他们竟倚靠耶和华，说：“耶和华不是在我们中间吗？灾祸必不会临到我们身上。”所以，为你们的缘故，锡安必像被耕种的田地，耶路撒冷必变为乱堆，这殿的山要成为丛林中的高冈。
