皆因以色列人與猶大人、所行干我震怒之惡事、彼之列王、侯伯、祭司、先知、猶大諸人、耶路撒冷居民皆然、

The people of Israel and Judah have provoked me by all the evil they have done— they, their kings and officials, their priests and prophets, the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem.

The people of Israel and Judah have made me very angry. They have done many evil things. They, their kings and officials have sinned. So have their priests and prophets. And the people of Judah and Jerusalem have also sinned.

because of all the evil of the children of Israel and the children of Judah that they did to provoke me to anger— their kings and their officials, their priests and their prophets, the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

“ The sins of Israel and Judah— the sins of the people of Jerusalem, the kings, the officials, the priests, and the prophets— have stirred up my anger.

主啊，我們和我們的君王、首領、先祖因得罪了你而滿臉羞愧。

唉！你們這罪惡的民族，惡貫滿盈的百姓，作惡的子孫，敗壞的兒女！你們背棄耶和華，藐視以色列的聖者，與祂疏遠。你們為什麼一再叛逆？你們還要受責打嗎？你們已經頭破血流，身心疲憊。你們已經體無完膚，從頭到腳傷痕纍纍，傷口沒有清洗，沒有包紮，也沒有敷藥。

「以色列人啊，你們和你們的君王、官長、祭司和先知必蒙羞，如同被擒的盜賊。

你的首領是叛逆之徒，與盜賊為伍，個個收受賄賂，貪圖好處，不為孤兒辯護，不替寡婦伸冤。

從我們的祖先開始到現在，我們罪惡深重。由於我們的罪惡，我們、我們的君王和祭司都落在外邦君王的手中，被他們殺害、俘虜、搶掠和羞辱，如同今天的光景。

我說：「雅各的首領，以色列家的統治者啊！你們要聽！難道你們不知正義嗎？你們憎惡良善，喜愛邪惡，剝下我百姓的皮，從他們的骨頭上剔肉。你們吃我百姓的肉，剝我百姓的皮，打碎他們的骨頭，把他們切成塊，如同下在鍋裡、放進釜中的肉。你們遭難的時候，向耶和華呼求，祂必不應允你們。因你們的惡行，祂必掩面不顧你們。」耶和華說：「使我的子民步入歧途的先知啊，你們向供養你們的人報平安，出言攻擊那不供養你們的人。

這叛逆、污穢、充滿壓迫的城有禍了！她不聽命令，不受管教；不倚靠耶和華，不親近她的上帝。她的首領是咆哮的獅子，她的審判官是夜間的豺狼，不留一點獵物到天明。她的先知是狂妄詭詐之徒，她的祭司褻瀆聖殿，違背律法。

你的首領圖謀惡事，好像咆哮著撕碎獵物的獅子，他們草菅人命，搶奪財寶，使多人變成寡婦。你的祭司強解我的律法，褻瀆我的聖物。他們聖俗不分，也不教導人分辨潔淨的和污穢的。他們藐視我的安息日，褻瀆我。你的首領好像撕碎獵物的豺狼，殺人流血，謀取不義之財。你的先知對他們說虛假的異象和占卜，像用白灰刷牆一樣掩蓋他們的罪惡，說，耶和華這樣說，其實耶和華沒有說。你的居民強取豪奪，欺壓貧困的，虐待寄居的，無法無天。

因此，耶和華要在一日之間剷除以色列的頭和尾。頭是指他們的長老和首領，尾是指教人虛謊之事的假先知。

「『看啊，在你城中的以色列首領各逞權勢，殺人流血。

「因此，我們的上帝啊，你是偉大、全能、可畏、守約、施慈愛的上帝，求你不要輕看我們的王、首領、祭司、先知、祖先和你的子民從亞述諸王時代直到今天所受的苦難。在這臨到我們的一切事上，你都是公義的，因為你行事信實，我們行事邪惡。我們的王、首領、祭司和祖先沒有遵行你的律法，也沒有留心聽從你的誡命和你給他們的警告。

沒有聽從你的僕人——眾先知奉你的名向我們的君王、首領、先祖及國中百姓所說的話。

雅各家的首領，以色列家的統治者啊，你們要聽！你們厭惡正義，顛倒是非；以血腥建立錫安，以罪惡建造耶路撒冷。城裡的首領為貪贓而枉法，祭司為銀子而施教，先知為錢財而占卜。他們卻宣稱倚靠耶和華，說：「耶和華不是在我們當中嗎？災禍不會臨到我們。」所以，因你們的緣故，錫安必像田地被耕犁，耶路撒冷必淪為廢墟，聖殿山必成為荒林之岡。
