It will be a sign for you on your hand and a memorial on your forehead, so that the law of the LORD may be in your mouth, for with a mighty hand the LORD brought you out of Egypt.

O LORD, sovereign God! Who is strong like you, O LORD? Your faithfulness surrounds you.You rule over the proud sea. When its waves surge, you calm them.You crushed the Proud One and killed it; with your strong arm you scattered your enemies.

He brought his people out enriched with silver and gold; none of his tribes stumbled.

In the future, when your son asks you‘ What is this?’ you are to tell him,‘ With a mighty hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the land of slavery.

When they hear about your great reputation and your ability to accomplish mighty deeds, they will come and direct their prayers toward this temple.
