我儕自立國至今、我儕與列祖獲罪於主、我之天主、不聽主我天主之命、故我若臥於羞辱、恥辱蒙蔽我身、

Let us lie down in our shame, and let our disgrace cover us. We have sinned against the Lord our God, both we and our ancestors; from our youth till this day we have not obeyed the Lord our God.”

爾興盛時、我與爾言、惟爾曰、我不聽、爾自幼時、所為若是、不從我言、

我冠自首而墜、禍哉我儕、因干罪戾兮、

願敵被辱、願其抱愧、如衣以袍兮、

爾往、向耶路撒冷呼曰、耶和華云、我憶爾少年之戀慕、和親之愛情、彼時爾從我於野、未經耕種之地、

是日我必怒而棄之、掩面不顧、使被吞噬、多遭災禍、時彼必曰、此災臨我、豈非以我上帝不在我中乎、因其轉從他神、行此惡事、我必掩面不顧之、

爾上帝耶和華導爾於途、而爾離之、豈非自召斯禍乎、

長眠於塵土者、多有復醒、得永生者有之、蒙羞而受永辱者有之、

我民女歟、爾其束麻、輾轉灰塵、爾其舉哀、號咷痛哭、若喪獨子、蓋殘賊者將倏然臨我、

昔之所行、今日恥之、其效維何、終則死亡、

我祖獲罪而亡、我負厥咎兮、

爾實未聞未知、爾耳未通、我知爾甚行詐、自出母胎以來、稱為悖逆者、

勿與斯土之民立約、必毀其壇、而爾不聽我言、果何為哉、

盜見獲則愧恥、以色列家、與其君王牧伯、祭司先知、愧恥亦若是、

凡爾燃火、自環以火炬者、其行於爾之火焰、與所燃之火炬中、爾必慘然而臥、我手使然也、

我上帝歟、乃至大至能、可畏之上帝、踐約施恩、凡我列王牧伯、祭司先知、列祖庶民、自亞述王迄於今日、所遭患難、祈勿視為微小、所加於我、爾無不義、爾所行惟誠、我所行惟惡、我之列王牧伯、祭司列祖、不守爾律、不從爾誡、及爾警戒之言、

未聽爾僕諸先知、奉爾之名告我君王、牧伯列祖、及國中庶民之言、主歟、惟爾為義、我則蒙羞、有如今日、猶大人、耶路撒冷居民、及以色列眾、因其獲罪於爾、或遠或近、被驅至於諸國、主歟、我與我之君王、牧伯列祖、因獲罪於爾、俱蒙羞恥、我主我上帝、恆懷矜憫赦宥、而我儕悖逆之、不聽我上帝耶和華之言、不行爾藉爾僕諸先知所示我之法律、

爾之罪惡必自懲、爾之悖逆必自責、可知離棄爾上帝耶和華、不存寅畏之心、乃惡而且苦之事、萬軍之主耶和華言之矣、

不從師言、不聽傅訓、

我列祖在埃及、不明爾異蹟、不憶爾厚惠、乃於紅海悖逆兮、

曰、我上帝歟、予抱愧赧顏、不敢向我上帝仰面、蓋我儕愆尤滅頂、罪戾滔天、自我列祖迄今、世濟其惡、因我罪戾、我與我王祭司、付於列國王手、為其殺戮、虜掠攘奪、蒙恥含羞、有如今日、今我上帝耶和華暫施其恩、拯我遺民、使居聖所、如釘之牢、光照我目、俾於服役、少復振興、我為奴僕、然於服役、上帝不棄、在波斯王前、施恩於我、使復振興、能建我上帝室、修其荒墟、於猶大及耶路撒冷、得有垣墉、我上帝歟、事既如此、夫復何言、我儕違棄爾誡、即爾藉爾僕諸先知所命曰、爾所往據之地、乃為不潔、緣斯土諸族之污、與可憎之事、充乎四境、勿以爾女嫁其子、勿為爾子娶其女、勿求其平康及昌熾、使爾強盛、可食其地嘉產、貽厥子孫、世為恆業、我緣惡行大罪、遭斯諸事、而爾我之上帝加罰、較之我罪維輕、且以若許遺民賜我、我儕何可復犯爾誡、與行事可憎之族聯姻乎、若然、爾豈不怒我、盡行翦滅、以致靡遺、無得免者、以色列之上帝耶和華歟、爾乃公義、我儕為逃脫之遺民、咸負罪戾、有如今日、因此、莫能立於爾前、

主耶和華曰、以色列家乎、當知我之行是、非為爾故、宜為爾途含羞懷慚、

以麻束身、遍體戰慄、面俱慚、首盡髠、
