今在荒邱、聞有人聲、乃以色列人哀哭祈求、因行邪道、忘其上帝耶和華、

爾曹背道、忘我耶和華、爾之上帝、今在童山、我聞哭聲、籲呼於上。

“你向净光的高处举目观看，你在何处没有淫行呢？你坐在道旁等候，好像阿拉伯人在旷野埋伏一样，并且你的淫行邪恶玷污了全地。

处女岂能忘记她的妆饰呢？新妇岂能忘记她的美衣呢？我的百姓却忘记了我无数的日子！

我听见以法莲为自己悲叹说：“你责罚我，我便受责罚，像不惯负轭的牛犊一样。求你使我回转，我便回转，因为你是耶和华我的神。我回转以后就真正懊悔；受教以后就拍腿叹息；我因担当幼年的凌辱就抱愧蒙羞。”耶和华说：“以法莲是我的爱子吗？是可喜悦的孩子吗？我每逢责备他，仍深顾念他；所以我的心肠恋慕他；我必要怜悯他。

行正直路的，步步安稳；走弯曲道的，必致败露。

你为何因损伤哀号呢？你的痛苦无法医治。我因你的罪孽甚大，罪恶众多，曾将这些加在你身上。故此，凡吞吃你的必被吞吃；你的敌人个个都被掳去；掳掠你的必成为掳物；抢夺你的必成为掠物。耶和华说：我必使你痊愈，医好你的伤痕，都因人称你为被赶散的，说：‘这是锡安，无人来探问的！’”

耶和华说：“当那日子、那时候，以色列人要和犹大人同来，随走随哭，寻求耶和华他们的神。他们必访问锡安，又面向这里，说：‘来吧，你们要与耶和华联合为永远不忘的约。’

“我必将那施恩叫人恳求的灵，浇灌大卫家和耶路撒冷的居民。他们必仰望我，就是他们所扎的；必为我悲哀，如丧独生子，又为我愁苦，如丧长子。那日，耶路撒冷必有大大的悲哀，如米吉多平原之哈达临门的悲哀。境内一家一家地都必悲哀。大卫家，男的独在一处，女的独在一处。拿单家，男的独在一处，女的独在一处。利未家，男的独在一处，女的独在一处。示每家，男的独在一处，女的独在一处。其余的各家，男的独在一处，女的独在一处。”

主耶和华如此说：“因你忘记我，将我丢在背后，所以你要担当你淫行和淫乱的报应。”

人的愚昧倾败他的道；他的心也抱怨耶和华。

以色列忘记造他的主，建造宫殿；犹大多造坚固城，我却要降火焚烧他的城邑，烧灭其中的宫殿。”

耶和华的使者对他说：“你为何这三次打你的驴呢？我出来敌挡你，因你所行的，在我面前偏僻。

他在人前歌唱说：‘我犯了罪，颠倒是非，这竟与我无益。

雅各家的首领、以色列家的官长啊，当听我的话！你们厌恶公平，在一切事上屈枉正直；

这些民照我所赐的食物得了饱足；既得饱足，心就高傲，忘记了我。

其中所逃脱的就必逃脱，各人因自己的罪孽在山上发出悲声，好像谷中的鸽子哀鸣。
