今在荒邱、聞有人聲、乃以色列人哀哭祈求、因行邪道、忘其上帝耶和華、

爾曹背道、忘我耶和華、爾之上帝、今在童山、我聞哭聲、籲呼於上。

A cry is heard on the barren heights, the weeping and pleading of the people of Israel, because they have perverted their ways and have forgotten the Lord their God.

Voices are heard high on the windswept mountains, the weeping and pleading of Israel’s people. For they have chosen crooked paths and have forgotten the Lord their God.

因為依照神的意思而有的憂傷，可以生出沒有懊悔的悔改，以致得救；世俗的憂傷卻會招致死亡。

因為你忘記了那拯救你的神，又不記念那作你避難所的磐石，所以你雖然栽下佳美的樹秧子，種下異種的幼苗，

他們進入房子（“房子”或譯：“廟宇”），又往底本，上到高處去哭泣，摩押人為尼波和米底巴哀號；各人頭上都光禿，鬍鬚剃淨。

我引導他們的時候，他們必哭著而來，並且向我乞恩懇求。我要使他們走在溪水旁，行在平直的路上，他們必不會絆跌；因為我是以色列的父親，以法蓮是我的長子。

“你向光禿的高岡舉目看看，哪裡沒有你的淫跡？你坐在路邊等候情人，像阿拉伯人在曠野埋伏一樣。你以淫亂和邪惡，把這地玷污了。

少女能忘記她的飾物嗎？新婦能忘記她的華帶嗎？我的子民卻忘記了我，這些日子無法數算。

“我清楚聽見以法蓮為自己哀歎，說：‘你管教了我，我像一頭不馴服的牛犢受管教；求你使我回轉，我就得以回轉，因為你是耶和華我的神。我回轉以後，就深深悔悟；我醒覺以後，就拍腿悔恨。因為我承受年幼時的恥辱，我感到羞恥和慚愧。’以法蓮是我親愛的兒子嗎？是我喜悅的孩子嗎？每逢我說話攻擊他，我必再次記念他。因此，我的心戀慕他；我必定憐憫他。”這是耶和華的宣告。

行為完全的，步步安穩；行事彎曲的，終必敗露。

你為甚麼因你的損傷哀叫呢？你的病痛無法痊愈。我這樣對你，是因你的罪孽甚多，你的罪惡無數。但是，吞吃你的，必被吞吃；你所有的敵人全都要被擄走；搶掠你的，必成為被搶掠之物；掠奪你的，我必使他們成為被掠奪之物。雖然人都說你是被放逐的，是沒有人關心的錫安；我卻必使你康復，醫治你的創傷。’”這是耶和華的宣告。

到那些日子、那時候（這是耶和華的宣告），以色列人必和猶大人一同來，邊走邊哭，要尋找耶和華他們的神。他們要詢問往錫安的路，又面向錫安，說：‘來吧！我們要以那永不可忘記的約與耶和華連合。’

“我必把那恩慈與懇求的靈傾注在大衛家和耶路撒冷居民的身上。他們必仰望我，就是他們所刺的；他們要為他哀哭，好像喪獨生子；他們必為他悲痛，好像喪長子。到那日，耶路撒冷必有極大的哀哭，像在米吉多平原的哈達臨門的哀哭一樣。全地都要哀哭，一家一家獨在一處哀哭。大衛家獨在一處，他們的婦女也獨在一處；拿單家獨在一處，他們的婦女也獨在一處；利未家獨在一處，他們的婦女也獨在一處；示每家獨在一處，他們的婦女也獨在一處；其餘的各家都是一家一家獨在一處，他們的婦女也獨在一處。”

因此，主耶和華這樣說：‘因為你忘記了我，把我丟在背後，所以你要擔當你淫蕩和淫亂的後果。’”

人的愚妄毀滅自己的道路；他的心卻惱怒耶和華。

以色列忘記了造他的主，建造了很多宮殿；猶大也增添了很多堅固城。我卻要降火在他的眾城中，吞滅他的堡壘。”

耶和華的使者對他說：“你為甚麼這三次打你的驢呢？看哪，是我來敵擋你，因為你走的路在我面前邪僻。

他在人面前歌唱，說：‘我犯了罪，顛倒是非，但我沒有受到應得的報應。

雅各家的首領，你們要聽這個，以色列家的官長，你們也要聽；你們厭惡公平，屈枉正直，

但他們得了餵養而飽足，飽足以後，就心高氣傲，因此忘記了我。

他們中間逃脫的，必因自己的罪孽在山上發出哀聲，像谷中的鴿子哀鳴一樣。
