I will give you shepherds according to my heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.

民牧若得我心者、我必立之、使以智慧、治理爾曹。

必為爾立合我心之牧人、俾以智慧明哲牧爾、

Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding.

Then I will give you shepherds who are dear to my heart. Their knowledge and understanding will help them lead you.

“‘ And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.

And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will guide you with knowledge and understanding.

I will give you shepherds who are loyal to me, and they will shepherd you with knowledge and skill.

“ Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you knowledge and understanding.

And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.

And I will give you shepherds according to my heart, who shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

I will give you shepherds who are loyal to Me, and they will shepherd you with knowledge and skill.

And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

I will give you leaders who will be faithful to me. They will lead you with knowledge and insight.

I will set up shepherds over them, who will feed them. They will no longer be afraid or dismayed, neither will any be lacking,” says Yahweh.

Take heed, therefore, to yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the assembly of the Lord and God which he purchased with his own blood.

I will set up one shepherd over them, and he will feed them, even my servant David. He will feed them, and he will be their shepherd.

You know that I have affection for you.” Jesus said to him,“ Feed my sheep.

Brothers, I couldn’t speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Christ.I fed you with milk, not with meat; for you weren’t yet ready. Indeed, you aren’t ready even now,

Though the Lord may give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your teachers won’t be hidden any more, but your eyes will see your teachers;and when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying,“ This is the way. Walk in it.”

“‘“ My servant David will be king over them. They all will have one shepherd. They will also walk in my ordinances, and observe my statutes, and do them.

The lips of the righteous feed many, but the foolish die for lack of understanding.

The Lord said,“ Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his lord will set over his household, to give them their portion of food at the right times?

We speak wisdom, however, among those who are full grown, yet a wisdom not of this world nor of the rulers of this world who are coming to nothing.

Therefore I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and who will also share in the glory that will be revealed.Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not under compulsion, but voluntarily, not for dishonest gain, but willingly;not as lording it over those entrusted to you, but making yourselves examples to the flock.When the chief Shepherd is revealed, you will receive the crown of glory that doesn’t fade away.

He shall stand, and shall shepherd in the strength of Yahweh, in the majesty of the name of Yahweh his God: and they will live, for then he will be great to the ends of the earth.He will be our peace when Assyria invades our land, and when he marches through our fortresses, then we will raise against him seven shepherds, and eight leaders of men.

But now your kingdom will not continue. Yahweh has sought for himself a man after his own heart, and Yahweh has appointed him to be prince over his people, because you have not kept that which Yahweh commanded you.”

For although by this time you should be teachers, you again need to have someone teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the revelations of God. You have come to need milk, and not solid food.For everyone who lives on milk is not experienced in the word of righteousness, for he is a baby.But solid food is for those who are full grown, who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.

“ Most certainly, I tell you, one who doesn’t enter by the door into the sheep fold, but climbs up some other way, is a thief and a robber.But one who enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.Whenever he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.They will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him; for they don’t know the voice of strangers.”

But we received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.We also speak these things, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.

as newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, that with it you may grow,
