你举目向光秃的高地观看，何处没有你的淫行呢？你坐在道路旁等候，好像阿拉伯人在旷野埋伏，你的淫行和邪恶使全地污秽了。

又为自己建造土墩，在各广场上筑起高台。你在各个街头建造高台，使你的美貌变为可憎；又向所有过路的人招手，多行淫乱。

耶和华啊，我们承认自己的罪恶和我们祖先的罪孽，因我们得罪了你。

“他们要承认自己的罪孽和祖先的罪孽，就是背叛我，行事与我作对的过犯。我也行事与他们作对，把他们遣送到敌人之地。那时，他们未受割礼的心若肯谦卑，也服了罪孽的惩罚，我就要记念我与雅各的约，记念我与以撒的约，与亚伯拉罕的约；我也要记念这地。

我听见以法莲为自己悲叹说：‘你管教我，我便受管教，我如未驯服的牛犊。求你使我回转，我便回转，因为你是耶和华—我的上帝。我背离以后就懊悔，受教以后就捶胸；我因担当年轻时的凌辱就抱愧蒙羞。’以法莲是我的爱子吗？是我喜欢的孩子吗？我每逢责备他，仍深顾念他。因此，我的心肠牵挂着他，我必要怜悯他。这是耶和华说的。

他在人前歌唱说：‘我犯了罪，颠倒是非，却没有受该得的报应。上帝救赎我的性命免入地府，我的生命也必见光。’

遮掩自己过犯的，必不顺利；承认且离弃过犯的，必蒙怜悯。

“只是你仗着自己美貌，又凭着你的名声行淫。你向路人纵情淫乱，你的美貌就属于他的了。

我们若说自己没有罪，就是欺骗自己，真理就不在我们里面了。我们若认自己的罪，上帝是信实的，是公义的，必要赦免我们的罪，洗净我们一切的不义。我们若说自己没有犯过罪，就是把上帝当作说谎的，他的道就不在我们里面了。
