當書達老底嘉會之使者云、為阿們、忠信誠實之證、上帝創造之始、曰、

並自耶穌基督、即忠信之證、由死而首生、為世上諸王之主者也、彼愛我儕、以其血釋我諸罪、

攘竊殺戮、行淫妄誓、焚香於巴力、從事素所未識之他神、且詣我寄名之室、立於我前曰、我得釋矣、致爾行此可惡之事、

上帝語惡人曰、爾奚稱道我律、口言我約、實則厭我訓誨、委我言於後兮、見盜者則樂附之、淫者則與共兮、

彼狥形軀、縱污慾、輕視執政為尤甚、乃果敢自恃、謗讟尊榮、而不戰慄、夫天使雖權力尤大、而於主前尚不詬詈以訟之、但此輩乃無知之物、生性如畜、為人所執而屠者、謗讟其所不知、將於所敗者而見敗、其受非義、乃非義之值也、彼以白晝宴樂為快、乃玷乃垢、與爾同餐時、則於愛筵而宴樂也、其目充淫色、不已於罪、煽惑不堅之人、心習貪婪、是為受詛之子、棄正道而迷罔、從比珥子巴蘭之道、即愛不義之值者也、為己過愆見責、瘖驢作人聲、禁先知之狂妄、若輩猶枯泉、狂風所蕩之霧、有晦而暗者待之、蓋其言矜誇虛誕、由形軀之慾、以淫邪誘惑甫脫妄行者、許之以自由、而己則為邪慝之奴、蓋為其所勝者、即為其奴也、

惟爾曰、奚為哉、乃因耶和華在爾與爾少時之妻間為證、彼雖為爾伉儷、盟約之妻、而爾以詐偽待之、

爾之淫亂嘶鳴、及徇欲之邪慝、凡在田野之山、所行可憎之事、我俱見之、禍哉、耶路撒冷歟、爾不自潔、尚有幾時乎、

但斯人於夢幻中、亦如是污衊形軀、藐忽執政、謗讟尊榮、然天使長米迦勒為摩西屍與魔爭辯時、尚不敢謗讟以罪之、第曰、主其責爾、惟斯人謗讟其所不知、且其本性之所悟、一如無理之禽獸、於此則見滅矣、○禍哉斯人也、以其行該隱之途、且為利而趨巴蘭之謬、淪亡於可拉之違言、

其先知輕佻詭詐、其祭司污玷聖所、干犯法律、
