For this is what the LORD says:“ When seventy years for Babylon are complete, I will attend to you and will confirm my promise concerning you to restore you to this place.

耶和华说：“你们被掳到巴比伦七十年期满后，我就要眷顾你们，成就我充满恩典的应许，把你们带回这地方。

“耶和华这样说：‘为巴比伦所定的七十年满了以后，我必眷顾你们，向你们实行我满有恩惠的诺言，把你们带回这地方来。

耶和華曰、爾居巴比倫、歷七十年、厥後我眷顧爾、應我所許、使爾得歸故土、

主如是云、爾居巴比倫、歷七十年、厥後我眷顧爾、我所許之恩言、必為爾應驗、使爾得歸斯地、

This is what the Lord says:“ When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place.

The Lord says,“ You will be forced to live in Babylon for 70 years. After they are over, I will come to you. My good promise to you will come true. I will bring you back home.

“ For thus says the Lord: When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will visit you, and I will fulfill to you my promise and bring you back to this place.

This is what the Lord says:“ You will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised, and I will bring you home again.

“ For this is what the Lord says:‘ When seventy years have been completed for Babylon, I will visit you and fulfill My good word to you, to bring you back to this place.

For thus says the Lord: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place.

For thus saith Jehovah, After seventy years are accomplished for Babylon, I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.

For this is what the Lord says:“ When 70 years for Babylon are complete, I will attend to you and will confirm My promise concerning you to restore you to this place.

For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.

“ For the LORD says,‘ Only when the seventy years of Babylonian rule are over will I again take up consideration for you. Then I will fulfill my gracious promise to you and restore you to your homeland.

For Yahweh says,“ After seventy years are accomplished for Babylon, I will visit you and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.

in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the books according to the word of the LORD to the prophet Jeremiah that the number of years for the desolation of Jerusalem would be seventy.

‘ They will be taken to Babylon and will remain there until I attend to them again.’ This is the LORD’s declaration.‘ Then I will bring them up and restore them to this place.’”

When the seventy years are completed, I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation’— this is the LORD’s declaration—‘ the land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity, and I will make it a ruin forever.

“ Ask all the people of the land and the priests: When you fasted and lamented in the fifth and in the seventh months for these seventy years, did you really fast for me?

I will keep my eyes on them for their good and will return them to this land. I will build them up and not demolish them; I will plant them and not uproot them.I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the LORD. They will be my people, and I will be their God because they will return to me with all their heart.

“ For this is what the LORD says: Just as I have brought all this terrible disaster on these people, so am I about to bring on them all the good I am promising them.Fields will be bought in this land about which you are saying,‘ It’s a desolation without people or animals; it has been handed over to the Chaldeans!’Fields will be purchased, the transaction written on a scroll and sealed, and witnesses will be called on in the land of Benjamin, in the areas surrounding Jerusalem, and in Judah’s cities— the cities of the hill country, the cities of the Judean foothills, and the cities of the Negev— because I will restore their fortunes.” This is the LORD’s declaration.

This fulfilled the word of the LORD through Jeremiah, and the land enjoyed its Sabbath rest all the days of the desolation until seventy years were fulfilled.In the first year of King Cyrus of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the LORD spoken through Jeremiah, the LORD roused the spirit of King Cyrus of Persia to issue a proclamation throughout his entire kingdom and also to put it in writing:This is what King Cyrus of Persia says: The LORD, the God of the heavens, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and has appointed me to build him a temple at Jerusalem in Judah. Any of his people among you may go up, and may the LORD his God be with him.In the first year of King Cyrus of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the LORD spoken through Jeremiah, the LORD roused the spirit of King Cyrus to issue a proclamation throughout his entire kingdom and to put it in writing:This is what King Cyrus of Persia says:“ The LORD, the God of the heavens, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and has appointed me to build him a house at Jerusalem in Judah.

The coastland will belong to the remnant of the house of Judah; they will find pasture there. They will lie down in the evening among the houses of Ashkelon, for the LORD their God will return to them and restore their fortunes.

All nations will serve him, his son, and his grandson until the time for his own land comes, and then many nations and great kings will enslave him.
