With my great power and outstretched arm I made the earth and its people and the animals that are on it, and I give it to anyone I please.

I reached out my great and powerful arm. I made the earth. I made its people and animals. And I can give the earth to anyone I please.

With my great strength and powerful arm I made the earth and all its people and every animal. I can give these things of mine to anyone I choose.

“ By my great strength and outstretched arm, I made the earth, and the people, and animals on the face of the earth. I give it to anyone I please.

‘ I have made the earth, mankind, and the animals which are on the face of the earth by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and I will give it to the one who is pleasing in My sight.

‘ I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are on the ground, by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and have given it to whom it seemed proper to Me.

I have made the earth, the men and the beasts that are upon the face of the earth, by my great power and by my outstretched arm; and I give it unto whom it seemeth right unto me.

By My great strength and outstretched arm, I made the earth, and the people, and animals on the face of the earth. I give it to anyone I please.

I have made the earth, the man and the beast that[ are] upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.

“ I made the earth and the people and animals on it by my mighty power and great strength, and I give it to whomever I see fit.

‘ I have made the earth, the men, and the animals that are on the surface of the earth by my great power and by my outstretched arm. I give it to whom it seems right to me.

‘ Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.

May you be blessed by the Lord, who made heaven and earth!The heavens are the Lord’s heavens, but the earth he has given to the children of man.

The sentence is by the decree of the watchers, the decision by the word of the holy ones, to the end that the living may know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will and sets over it the lowliest of men.’

Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God,who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who keeps faith forever;

Thus says God, the Lord, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and what comes from it, who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk in it:

“ It is he who made the earth by his power, who established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding stretched out the heavens.

I made the earth and created man on it; it was my hands that stretched out the heavens, and I commanded all their host.

“ Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”

Thus shall you say to them:“ The gods who did not make the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under the heavens.”It is he who made the earth by his power, who established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding stretched out the heavens.

to him who by understanding made the heavens, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who spread out the earth above the waters, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who made the great lights, for his steadfast love endures forever;the sun to rule over the day, for his steadfast love endures forever;the moon and stars to rule over the night, for his steadfast love endures forever;

My hand laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand spread out the heavens; when I call to them, they stand forth together.

“ Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men, of like nature with you, and we bring you good news, that you should turn from these vain things to a living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them.

For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities— all things were created through him and for him.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.He was in the beginning with God.All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

and have forgotten the Lord, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth, and you fear continually all the day because of the wrath of the oppressor, when he sets himself to destroy? And where is the wrath of the oppressor?

And,“ You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands;they will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment,

Do you not know? Do you not hear? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to dwell in;who brings princes to nothing, and makes the rulers of the earth as emptiness.Scarcely are they planted, scarcely sown, scarcely has their stem taken root in the earth, when he blows on them, and they wither, and the tempest carries them off like stubble.To whom then will you compare me, that I should be like him? says the Holy One.Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb:“ I am the Lord, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself,

For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.

Declare, if you know all this.“ Where is the way to the dwelling of light, and where is the place of darkness,that you may take it to its territory and that you may discern the paths to its home?You know, for you were born then, and the number of your days is great!“ Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, or have you seen the storehouses of the hail,which I have reserved for the time of trouble, for the day of battle and war?What is the way to the place where the light is distributed, or where the east wind is scattered upon the earth?“ Who has cleft a channel for the torrents of rain and a way for the thunderbolt,to bring rain on a land where no man is, on the desert in which there is no man,to satisfy the waste and desolate land, and to make the ground sprout with grass?“ Has the rain a father, or who has begotten the drops of dew?From whose womb did the ice come forth, and who has given birth to the frost of heaven?The waters become hard like stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.“ Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades or loose the cords of Orion?Can you lead forth the Mazzaroth in their season, or can you guide the Bear with its children?Do you know the ordinances of the heavens? Can you establish their rule on the earth?“ Can you lift up your voice to the clouds, that a flood of waters may cover you?Can you send forth lightnings, that they may go and say to you,‘ Here we are’?Who has put wisdom in the inward parts or given understanding to the mind?Who can number the clouds by wisdom? Or who can tilt the waterskins of the heavens,when the dust runs into a mass and the clods stick fast together?“ Can you hunt the prey for the lion, or satisfy the appetite of the young lions,when they crouch in their dens or lie in wait in their thicket?Who provides for the raven its prey, when its young ones cry to God for help, and wander about for lack of food?

who struck down many nations and killed mighty kings,Sihon, king of the Amorites, and Og, king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan,and gave their land as a heritage, a heritage to his people Israel.

And when you approach the territory of the people of Ammon, do not harass them or contend with them, for I will not give you any of the land of the people of Ammon as a possession, because I have given it to the sons of Lot for a possession.’

the likeness of any animal that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the air,

And the Lord said to me,‘ Do not harass Moab or contend with them in battle, for I will not give you any of their land for a possession, because I have given Ar to the people of Lot for a possession.’

For the Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He knows your going through this great wilderness. These forty years the Lord your God has been with you. You have lacked nothing.”’

The fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth and upon every bird of the heavens, upon everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea. Into your hand they are delivered.Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything.

To you it was shown, that you might know that the Lord is God; there is no other besides him.

And God said,“ Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food.And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.

“ When you father children and children’s children, and have grown old in the land, if you act corruptly by making a carved image in the form of anything, and by doing what is evil in the sight of the Lord your God, so as to provoke him to anger,

For they are your people and your heritage, whom you brought out by your great power and by your outstretched arm.’

a people great and many, and tall as the Anakim; but the Lord destroyed them before the Ammonites, and they dispossessed them and settled in their place,

Of old you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.

“ For ask now of the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that God created man on the earth, and ask from one end of heaven to the other, whether such a great thing as this has ever happened or was ever heard of.

When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he divided mankind, he fixed the borders of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God.

“ Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and he has charged me to build him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

The dead tremble under the waters and their inhabitants.Sheol is naked before God, and Abaddon has no covering.He stretches out the north over the void and hangs the earth on nothing.He binds up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not split open under them.He covers the face of the full moon and spreads over it his cloud.He has inscribed a circle on the face of the waters at the boundary between light and darkness.The pillars of heaven tremble and are astounded at his rebuke.By his power he stilled the sea; by his understanding he shattered Rahab.By his wind the heavens were made fair; his hand pierced the fleeing serpent.Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways, and how small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”

“‘ Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may go well with you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.

“ Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image.

The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man,

“ Moses my servant is dead. Now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, into the land that I am giving to them, to the people of Israel.Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given to you, just as I promised to Moses.
