不過你們要確實知道，如果你們殺死我，就必使無辜的人的血歸到你們和這城，以及這城的居民頭上，因為耶和華實在差遣了我到你們中間，把這一切話傳到你們耳中。”

Be assured, however, that if you put me to death, you will bring the guilt of innocent blood on yourselves and on this city and on those who live in it, for in truth the Lord has sent me to you to speak all these words in your hearing.”

But you can be sure of one thing. If you put me to death, you will be held responsible for spilling my blood. And I haven’t even done anything wrong. You will bring guilt on yourselves and this city and those who live in it. The Lord has sent me to you. He wanted me to say all these things so you could hear them. And that’s the truth.”

Only know for certain that if you put me to death, you will bring innocent blood upon yourselves and upon this city and its inhabitants, for in truth the Lord sent me to you to speak all these words in your ears.”

But if you kill me, rest assured that you will be killing an innocent man! The responsibility for such a deed will lie on you, on this city, and on every person living in it. For it is absolutely true that the Lord sent me to speak every word you have heard.”

如果你們不欺壓寄居的，不欺壓孤兒寡婦，不在這地方流無辜人的血，也不跟從別的神，自招禍患；

就是高傲的眼、說謊的舌頭、流無辜人血的手、

這樣，你們就沒有玷污你們所在之地，因為血能玷污地；在地上如果有流人血的，除非流那故意殺人者的血，那地的血就不能得贖。

商議怎樣用詭計逮捕耶穌，把他殺害。

耶和華這樣說：你們要施行公正和公義，解救被搶奪的脫離欺壓者的手，不可虐待或以強暴對待寄居的、孤兒和寡婦，也不可在這地方流無辜人的血。

因為他們曾流聖徒和先知的血，現在你給他們血喝，這是他們該受的。”

然後跪下來大聲喊著說：“主啊，不要把這罪歸給他們！”說了這話，就睡了。

這些猶太人殺了主耶穌和眾先知，又把我們趕出來。他們得不到神的喜悅，並且和所有的人作對，阻撓我們向外族人傳道，不讓他們得救，以致惡貫滿盈。神的忿怒終必臨到他們身上。

並且說：‘我們若活在我們祖先的時代，決不會與他們一同流先知的血。’這樣，你們就指證自己是殺害先知的人的子孫了。那麼，去完成你們祖先的罪孽吧！你們這些蛇，這些毒蛇所生的啊，你們怎能逃脫地獄的刑罰呢？因此，我差派先知、智慧人和經學家到你們那裡；有些你們要殺害又釘在十字架上，有些你們要在會堂裡鞭打，從一個城趕逐到另一個城。所以，從義人亞伯的血起，到巴拉加的兒子撒迦利亞的血為止，他就是你們在聖所和祭壇中間所殺的，所有義人在地上所流的血，都要歸在你們身上。我實在告訴你們，這一切都必臨到這個世代。

流本回答他們，說：“我不是對你們說過：‘不要傷害那孩子’嗎？可是你們不肯聽，現在流他血的罪要向我們追討。”

又因著他所流無辜人的血，他使耶路撒冷滿了無辜人的血，耶和華決不赦免。

在你衣襟上又發現無辜窮人的血，並且你不是發現他們在挖窟窿時殺他們的。雖然這樣，

“但你的眼你的心甚麼都不顧，只顧你的不義之財，只知流無辜人的血，施行欺壓和迫害的事。”

“我責打你們的兒女也是沒用，因為他們不受管教。你們的刀劍，像滅命的獅子吞噬你們的先知。

那出賣耶穌的猶大說：“拉比，是我嗎？”他說：“這是你說的。”

耶和華說：“你作了甚麼事呢？你弟弟的血有聲音從地裡向我呼叫。

免得無辜人的血，流在耶和華你的神要賜給你作產業的地上，以致流人血的罪歸在你身上。
