Be assured, however, that if you put me to death, you will bring the guilt of innocent blood on yourselves and on this city and on those who live in it, for in truth the Lord has sent me to you to speak all these words in your hearing.”

But you can be sure of one thing. If you put me to death, you will be held responsible for spilling my blood. And I haven’t even done anything wrong. You will bring guilt on yourselves and this city and those who live in it. The Lord has sent me to you. He wanted me to say all these things so you could hear them. And that’s the truth.”

But if you kill me, rest assured that you will be killing an innocent man! The responsibility for such a deed will lie on you, on this city, and on every person living in it. For it is absolutely true that the Lord sent me to speak every word you have heard.”

如果你们不欺压寄居的，不欺压孤儿寡妇，不在这地方流无辜人的血，也不跟从别的神，自招祸患；

就是高傲的眼、说谎的舌头、流无辜人血的手、

这样，你们就没有玷污你们所在之地，因为血能玷污地；在地上如果有流人血的，除非流那故意杀人者的血，那地的血就不能得赎。

商议怎样用诡计逮捕耶稣，把他杀害。

耶和华这样说：你们要施行公正和公义，解救被抢夺的脱离欺压者的手，不可虐待或以强暴对待寄居的、孤儿和寡妇，也不可在这地方流无辜人的血。

因为他们曾流圣徒和先知的血，现在你给他们血喝，这是他们该受的。”

然后跪下来大声喊着说：“主啊，不要把这罪归给他们！”说了这话，就睡了。

这些犹太人杀了主耶稣和众先知，又把我们赶出来。他们得不到神的喜悦，并且和所有的人作对，阻挠我们向外族人传道，不让他们得救，以致恶贯满盈。神的忿怒终必临到他们身上。

并且说：‘我们若活在我们祖先的时代，决不会与他们一同流先知的血。’这样，你们就指证自己是杀害先知的人的子孙了。那么，去完成你们祖先的罪孽吧！你们这些蛇，这些毒蛇所生的啊，你们怎能逃脱地狱的刑罚呢？因此，我差派先知、智慧人和经学家到你们那里；有些你们要杀害又钉在十字架上，有些你们要在会堂里鞭打，从一个城赶逐到另一个城。所以，从义人亚伯的血起，到巴拉加的儿子撒迦利亚的血为止，他就是你们在圣所和祭坛中间所杀的，所有义人在地上所流的血，都要归在你们身上。我实在告诉你们，这一切都必临到这个世代。

流本回答他们，说：“我不是对你们说过：‘不要伤害那孩子’吗？可是你们不肯听，现在流他血的罪要向我们追讨。”

又因着他所流无辜人的血，他使耶路撒冷满了无辜人的血，耶和华决不赦免。

在你衣襟上又发现无辜穷人的血，并且你不是发现他们在挖窟窿时杀他们的。虽然这样，

“但你的眼你的心什么都不顾，只顾你的不义之财，只知流无辜人的血，施行欺压和迫害的事。”

“我责打你们的儿女也是没用，因为他们不受管教。你们的刀剑，像灭命的狮子吞噬你们的先知。

那出卖耶稣的犹大说：“拉比，是我吗？”他说：“这是你说的。”

耶和华说：“你作了什么事呢？你弟弟的血有声音从地里向我呼叫。

免得无辜人的血，流在耶和华你的神要赐给你作产业的地上，以致流人血的罪归在你身上。
