I will summon all the peoples of the north and my servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon,” declares the Lord,“ and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants and against all the surrounding nations. I will completely destroy them and make them an object of horror and scorn, and an everlasting ruin.

So I will send for all the nations in the north. And I will send for my servant Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon,’ announces the Lord.‘ I will bring all of them against this land and against you who live here. They will march out against all the nations that are around this land. I will set apart Judah and the nations around it in a special way to be destroyed. People will be shocked because of them. And they will make fun of them. Those nations will be destroyed forever.

behold, I will send for all the tribes of the north, declares the Lord, and for Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants, and against all these surrounding nations. I will devote them to destruction, and make them a horror, a hissing, and an everlasting desolation.

I will gather together all the armies of the north under King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, whom I have appointed as my deputy. I will bring them all against this land and its people and against the surrounding nations. I will completely destroy you and make you an object of horror and contempt and a ruin forever.

我將興起迦勒底人是乃殘酷暴躁之邦、徧行大地、據非己之居所、彼矜嚴可畏、使威行鞫、悉由於己、其馬疾於豹、猛於暮出之狼、騎兵奔騰、來自遠方、疾飛如急食之鷹、彼之來也、為行強暴、奮勇直前、聚厥俘虜、如沙之多、藐視君王、姍笑牧伯、譏嘲保障、築壘而下之、

彼將建纛、以招遠邦、自地極而號召之、則疾趨而至、其中無憊者、無躓者、不寢不寐、腰帶弗解、履帶弗斷、其矢既利、其弓悉張、馬蹄如火石、車輪如旋風、其吼若牝獅、其鳴若稚獅、咆哮攫食、曳之而去、莫之能救、是日也、敵向之咆哮、若海濤澎湃、人望其地、則見幽暗艱苦、其光晦於密雲、

爾所生諸子中、必有被虜、在巴比倫王宮為宦豎、

以之付於使者之手、即詣耶路撒冷、覲猶大王西底家者、攜至以東王、摩押王、亞捫族之王、推羅王、西頓王、又命使者奏其主曰、萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝諭爾云、我以大能奮臂、肇造大地、與其上之人民牲畜、以地錫人、依我所視為宜、吾今以此諸國、付於我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒手、亦錫以田野之畜、俾供其役、列邦必服事之、延及子孫、迨其國之期既屆、則有多國大王、使之服役、無論何國何族、不服事巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、不以其項負巴比倫王之軛者、我必以鋒刃饑饉疫癘罰之、迨盡滅於其手、耶和華言之矣、

凡此諸詛、必追襲爾、臨及爾、俾爾滅亡、因爾不聽爾上帝耶和華所諭之言、守其誡命典章、凡此諸詛、必為異蹟奇事於爾、爰及子孫、歷世靡暨、爾當富有之時、不中心欣喜、奉事爾上帝耶和華、爾必饑渴、裸裎、匱乏、服役於敵、耶和華所遣攻爾者、彼以鐵軛置於爾頸、迨爾滅亡、耶和華必使遠民、如鷹之飛、來自地極、以攻擊爾、其言爾不之識、其容強悍、不顧耆老、不恤幼穉、

王之心志、在耶和華掌握、如溝洫之水、隨意運轉之、

我則由耶和華手取杯、使其遣我所至之國飲之、即耶路撒冷、猶大諸邑、及其君王牧伯、俾邑荒蕪、令人駭異、被嗤笑、服呪詛、有如今日、又有埃及王法老、與其臣僕、牧伯庶民、雜族之人、烏斯諸王、非利士諸王、亞實基倫、迦薩、以革倫、及亞實突遺民、以東、摩押、亞捫族、推羅諸王、西頓諸王、海外島嶼諸王、底但、提瑪、布斯、及凡薙鬢者、亞拉伯諸王、與居曠野、雜族之諸王、心利諸王、以攔諸王、瑪代諸王、北方遠近諸王、爰及天下萬國、厥後、示沙克王亦飲焉、

我使鋒刃臨爾、以報背約之仇、爾集於邑垣、我則降疫癘於其中、付爾於敵、既絕餱糧、如折爾杖、十婦炊餅於一爐、權之以給、爾得食而不飽、○汝猶不聽從、所行逆我、我必震怒、以拂逆爾、督責爾罪、至於七倍、爾將食子女之肉、我亦毀爾崇邱、斫爾日像、以爾尸骸、擲於偶像之上、我心必厭惡爾、俾爾邑垣荒墟、聖所寂寞、不享爾馨香、使爾土地荒蕪、處此之敵、無不駭異、我必散爾於異邦、襲爾以白刃、荒涼爾土、闃寂爾邑、爾既寓於敵國、斯土荒寂、其壤則閒、而享安息、地既荒寂、必享安息、爾居斯土、其壤所未獲之安息、此時必得享之、爾之孑遺、處於敵國、必使其心頹敗、風吹葉落、聞聲而怖、彼之遁逃、若避鋒刃、即無追者、亦必顚仆、無人追襲、自相蹂躪、如在鋒刃之前、無力拒敵、爾必危亡於異邦、吞噬於敵國、爾之孑遺、處於敵國、為一己之愆尤、並前人之罪戾、日漸消亡、是時必承己愆、及前人之罪、自認所行逆我、我拂逆之、散之敵國、緣其不潔之心、自卑服罪、我則追憶我與亞伯拉罕以撒雅各所立之約、而俯念斯土、彼既蔑視我律例、心厭我典章、致離故土、使田荒寂、於無人時、得享安息、代民服罪、雖然、彼處於敵國、我不屏斥之、厭惡之、殲滅之、致廢我約、蓋我乃耶和華、彼之上帝、昔我導其宗祖出於埃及、為其上帝、異邦無不目擊、故我必念其約、我乃耶和華也、以上典章律例法度、乃耶和華於西乃山、藉摩西與以色列人所立者、
