如爾忘爾上帝耶和華、從他上帝、以奉拜之、我今日告爾、爾必死亡。

昔耶和華與以色列族立約、命之曰、毋畏他上帝、毋崇拜、毋服事、毋祭祀、

爾攘竊殺人、行淫妄誓、焚香以敬巴力、崇事素未識之上帝、

所羅門年既老、諸妃迷眩其衷懷、使不一心誠恪、從其上帝耶和華、效父大闢所為、反從事他上帝、即西頓人之上帝亞大綠、亞捫人可惡之物密君、不效父大闢、恆從耶和華、乃行惡於耶和華前、在耶路撒冷相對之山、築崇邱、奉摩押人可惡之物基抹、亞捫人可惡之物摩洛、亦從娶於異族之嬪妃、焚香獻祭、奉厥上帝。以色列族之上帝耶和華、見所羅門之中心、不從己命、則怒、蓋耶和華曾二次顯現於所羅門、命其不可從他上帝、乃所羅門不遵其命、

余而外、不可別有上帝、
