Then the LORD said to me,“ Tell them that the LORD God of Israel who rules over all says,‘ Drink this cup until you get drunk and vomit. Drink until you fall down and can’t get up. For I will send wars sweeping through you.’

耶和华对我说：“你要告诉他们，以色列的上帝——万军之耶和华说，‘你们要喝这杯烈怒，喝得大醉、呕吐、倒地不起，因为我要使战争临到你们。’

“你要对他们说：‘万军之耶和华以色列的神这样说：你们要喝，并要喝醉，呕吐，以致跌倒，不能再起来，因为我打发刀剑到你们中间去。’

「你要對他們說：『萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神如此說：你們要喝，且要喝醉，要嘔吐，且要跌倒，不得再起來，都因我使刀劍臨到你們中間。』

「你要對他們說：『萬軍之耶和華－以色列的上帝如此說：你們要喝，且要喝醉，要嘔吐，且要跌倒，不再起來，都因我使刀劍臨到你們中間。』

「你要對他們說：『萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神如此說：你們要喝，且要喝醉，要嘔吐，且要跌倒，不再起來，都因我使刀劍臨到你們中間。』

耶和華對我說：「你要告訴他們，以色列的上帝——萬軍之耶和華說，『你們要喝這杯烈怒，喝得大醉、嘔吐、倒地不起，因為我要使戰爭臨到你們。』

“你要對他們說：‘萬軍之耶和華以色列的神這樣說：你們要喝，並要喝醉，嘔吐，以致跌倒，不能再起來，因為我打發刀劍到你們中間去。’

『你要對他們說：「萬軍之永恆主以色列之上帝這麼說：你們要喝到醉，到嘓嘓吐，以致倒下去，不能再起來，是因為刀劍的緣故，就是我所打發到你們中間去的。」

爾當告之曰、萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝云、爾其飲之而醉、至於哇吐、顚躓而不復起、因我使鋒刃入於爾中也、

爾必告之曰、萬有之主以色列族之上帝耶和華云、予必擊爾以鋒刃、當飲斯爵、至於酩酊、至於哇吐、顛躓不起。

爾必告之曰、萬有之主以色列之天主如是云、爾曹當飲、飲醉以致吐哇、傾仆不起、因我必使鋒刃之災臨爾曹、

“ Then tell them,‘ This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Drink, get drunk and vomit, and fall to rise no more because of the sword I will send among you.’

The Lord says,“ Tell them,‘ The Lord who rules over all is the God of Israel. He says,“ Drink from this cup. Get drunk and throw up. Fall down and do not get up again. I am going to send war against you.” ’

“ Then you shall say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Drink, be drunk and vomit, fall and rise no more, because of the sword that I am sending among you.’

Then the Lord said to me,“ Now tell them,‘ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says: Drink from this cup of my anger. Get drunk and vomit; fall to rise no more, for I am sending terrible wars against you.’

“ Then you are to say to them,‘ This is what the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: Drink, get drunk, and vomit. Fall down and never get up again, as a result of the sword I am sending among you.’

“ And you shall say to them,‘ This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says:“ Drink, be drunk, vomit, fall down, and do not get up, because of the sword which I am sending among you.” ’

“ Therefore you shall say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel:“ Drink, be drunk, and vomit! Fall and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.”’

And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Drink ye, and be drunken, and spew, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.

“ Then you are to say to them: This is what the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: Drink, get drunk, and vomit. Fall down and never get up again, as a result of the sword I am sending among you.

Therefore thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Drink ye, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.

“ You shall tell them,‘ Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel says:“ Drink, and be drunk, vomit, fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.”’

But you will become drunk with shame, not majesty. Now it is your turn to drink and expose your uncircumcised foreskin! The cup of wine in the LORD’s right hand is coming to you, and disgrace will replace your majestic glory!

When they have drunk it, they will stagger to and fro and act insane. For I will send wars sweeping through them.”

Rejoice and be glad for now, O people of Edom, who reside in the land of Uz. But the cup of judgment will pass to you also; you will get drunk and take off your clothes.ת( Tav)

Because I will cut off from you both the righteous and the wicked, my sword will go out from its sheath against everyone from the south to the north.Then everyone will know that I am the LORD, who drew my sword from its sheath– it will not be sheathed again!’

So listen to this, oppressed one, who is drunk, but not from wine!

I trampled nations in my anger, I made them drunk in my rage, I splashed their blood on the ground.”

I will make my arrows drunk with blood, and my sword will devour flesh– the blood of the slaughtered and captured, the chief of the enemy’s leaders!’”

But that day belongs to the Lord God who rules over all. It is the day when he will pay back his enemies. His sword will devour them until its appetite is satisfied! It will drink their blood until it is full! For the Lord GOD who rules over all will offer them up as a sacrifice in the land of the north by the Euphrates River.

“ Make an announcement throughout Egypt. Proclaim it in Migdol, Memphis, and Tahpanhes.‘ Take your positions and prepare to do battle. For the enemy army is destroying all the nations around you.’

“ Destructive forces will come against the Babylonians,” says the LORD.“ They will come against the people who inhabit Babylonia, against her leaders and her men of wisdom.

How long will you cry out,‘ Oh, sword of the LORD, how long will it be before you stop killing? Go back into your sheath! Stay there and rest!’But how can it rest when I, the LORD, have given it orders? I have ordered it to attack the people of Ashkelon and the seacoast.

Say to the house of Israel,‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says: Realize I am about to desecrate my sanctuary– the source of your confident pride, the object in which your eyes delight, and your life’s passion. Your very own sons and daughters whom you have left behind will die by the sword.Then you will do as I have done: You will not cover your lip or eat food brought by others.Your turbans will be on your heads and your sandals on your feet; you will not mourn or weep, but you will rot for your iniquities and groan among yourselves.Ezekiel will be an object lesson for you; you will do all that he has done. When it happens, then you will know that I am the sovereign LORD.’“ And you, son of man, this is what will happen on the day I take from them their stronghold– their beautiful source of joy, the object in which their eyes delight, and the main concern of their lives, as well as their sons and daughters:

A destructive army will come marching over the hilltops in the desert. For the LORD will use them as his destructive weapon against everyone from one end of the land to the other. No one will be safe.
