且我必於其中、絕其歡欣喜樂之聲、新娶者及新婦之聲、旋磨之音、燈火之光、

不聞懽忭之言、新娶者及新婦之音、旋磨之聲不徹於外、燈火之光不耀於內、我使之然。

I will banish from them the sounds of joy and gladness, the voices of bride and bridegroom, the sound of millstones and the light of the lamp.

I will put an end to the sounds of joy and gladness. I will put an end to the voices of brides and grooms. The sound of grinding millstones will not be heard anymore. And lamps will not be lit anymore.

Moreover, I will banish from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the grinding of the millstones and the light of the lamp.

I will take away your happy singing and laughter. The joyful voices of bridegrooms and brides will no longer be heard. Your millstones will fall silent, and the lights in your homes will go out.

I will eliminate the sound of joy and gladness from them— the voice of the groom and the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp.

Moreover, I will eliminate from them the voice of jubilation and the voice of joy, the voice of the groom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp.

Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp.

Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the lamp.

我使猶大諸邑、及耶路撒冷街衢、無欣喜之聲、無歡樂之聲、無新娶者之聲、無新婦之聲、斯地變為荒蕪、

我必使爾中不復有謳歌之聲、不復聞琴瑟之聲、

鼓琴、作樂、品簫、吹角之聲、不復聞於爾間、百工不復見於爾間、磨聲不復聞於爾間、燈光不復照於爾間、新娶者與新婦之聲、不復聞於爾間、爾之商賈、乃世之居尊位者、萬國皆以爾巫術而迷惑、

萬有之主以色列之天主如是云、爾曹在世之時、我必使斯地、復無欣喜之聲、歡樂之聲、新娶者之聲、新婦之聲、此爾目睹、

主如是云、爾曹曾言斯地荒蕪、無人無畜、厥後在此荒蕪、無人無居民無牲畜之猶大諸邑、及耶路撒冷之街衢、將復聞欣喜之聲、新娶者之聲、新婦之聲、必仍有人以酬恩祭、酬恩祭或作感謝祭奉入主殿、大聲呼曰、當頌美萬有之主、因主至善、主之恩惠永遠恆存、蓋我必使斯地之被擄者旋歸、我必使斯地之被擄者旋歸或作我必使斯地復興使綏安如初、此乃主所言、

因有人設謀、欲翦除殺戮勦滅我與我民族、原文作因我與我民族被鬻欲翦除殺戮勦滅我儕我儕若鬻為奴婢、我則無言、況滅我儕有損於王、敵萬不能補者、

詔中大旨、乃亞哈隨魯王許其國各州各邑之猶大人、在一日內、在十二月、即亞達月十三日、聚集自衛、以保其生、無論何州、與其為敵之兵民、可以翦除殺戮勦滅、延及嬰孩婦女、並取其貨財、

不待日月眾星晦其光、雨後又作雲之時、其時守室者將戰慄、有力者必卷曲、磨磨者寡而閒、自牖窺者皆昏暗、通衢之門已閉、磨之聲微小、寢時、聞鳥鳴即起、謳歌之女已衰、

彼之歡樂、彼之節期、月朔、安息日、及其諸大會之日、我必使之咸止、

葡萄焦枯、如有憂戚、葡萄樹盡衰殘、原文作新酒悲哀葡萄樹疲憊平昔心樂者、無不歎息、擊鼓之歡聲盡息、宴樂者之歡呼已止、鼓琴之歡聲亦息、不再謳歌飲酒、善飲者以醇醪為苦、邑毀而荒、宅第咸閉、無人得入、人因乏酒、在通衢哀號、一切歡樂、盡歸無有、國中喜樂無存、邑中荒蕪、邑門被毀、成為邱墟、

以詔付驛卒、傳於各州、命將猶大人、無論老少、嬰孩、婦女、在一日內、在十二月、即亞達月十三日、盡翦除、殺戮、剿滅、並取其貨財、
