且我必於其中、絕其歡欣喜樂之聲、新娶者及新婦之聲、旋磨之音、燈火之光、

不聞懽忭之言、新娶者及新婦之音、旋磨之聲不徹於外、燈火之光不耀於內、我使之然。

必使其中、再無欣喜之聲、歡樂之聲、新娶者之聲、新婦之聲、旋磨之聲、亦使再無燈光、

I will banish from them the sounds of joy and gladness, the voices of bride and bridegroom, the sound of millstones and the light of the lamp.

I will put an end to the sounds of joy and gladness. I will put an end to the voices of brides and grooms. The sound of grinding millstones will not be heard anymore. And lamps will not be lit anymore.

Moreover, I will banish from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the grinding of the millstones and the light of the lamp.

I will take away your happy singing and laughter. The joyful voices of bridegrooms and brides will no longer be heard. Your millstones will fall silent, and the lights in your homes will go out.

I will eliminate the sound of joy and gladness from them— the voice of the groom and the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp.

Moreover, I will eliminate from them the voice of jubilation and the voice of joy, the voice of the groom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp.

Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp.

Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the lamp.

我要使犹大各城和耶路撒冷街上的欢乐声、新郎和新娘的欢笑声全部消失，因为大地必荒凉。”

我必使你的歌声消逝，琴音断绝。

在你那里，再也听不见弹琴作乐、鸣笛吹号的声音了，再也找不到能工巧匠了，再也听不到推磨的声音了，再也看不到闪耀的灯光了，再也听不见新婚夫妇的欢笑声了。因为你的商人曾经趾高气扬，你的邪术曾经迷惑万国，

以色列的上帝——万军之耶和华说：“在这百姓有生之年，我要使这地方的欢乐声和新郎新娘的欢笑声从他们眼前消失。

耶和华说：“你们说犹大的城邑和耶路撒冷的街道一片荒凉、人畜绝迹，但这些地方必传出欢乐声、新郎新娘的欢笑声和在耶和华殿中献感恩祭者的歌唱声，“‘要感谢万军之耶和华，因为耶和华是美善的，祂的慈爱永远长存’。因为我必使被掳的人回到故土，重建家园。这是耶和华说的。”

因为我和我本族的人都被卖了，我们将被铲除、杀光、灭尽。如果只是卖我们为奴为婢，我会闭口不语，因为那样的痛苦不值得来打扰王。”

谕旨上说，王准许各城的犹太人在十二月，即亚达月十三日，聚集起来自卫，铲除、杀光、灭尽各族各省攻击他们的仇敌及其儿女、妻子，夺取仇敌的财物。

那时，太阳、月亮、星星都暗淡无光，雨后乌云再现；守卫家园的手脚颤抖，强壮的身躯变得弯腰驼背；牙齿稀少，无法咀嚼；视力衰退，看不清楚；耳朵发背，听不到推磨声；小鸟一叫，人就起来；歌声沙哑，不再美妙；

我要终止她一切的欢庆，终止她的年节、朔日、安息日及其他节期。

葡萄树枯萎，新酒停产，欢乐的人都发出悲叹。欢快的鼓声止息，悦耳的琴音消失，宴乐的喧闹不复听闻。再没有人对酒高歌，浓酒变得苦涩。毁坏的城一片荒凉，家家户户大门紧闭，无人能进。人们因无酒而在街上喊叫；一切欢乐变作哀愁，地上喜乐不复存在。城里一片荒凉，城门一片瓦砾。

谕旨由信差送到王的各省，限令在一天之内，即十二月，也就是亚达月十三日，把犹太人的男女老少全部铲除、杀光、灭尽，并夺取他们的财物。
