I will restore the fortunes of Judah and of Israel and will rebuild them as in former times.

I will take delight in them to do what is good for them, and with all my heart and mind I will faithfully plant them in this land.

After I have uprooted them, I will once again have compassion on them and return each one to his inheritance and to his land.

I will certainly gather them from all the lands where I have banished them in my anger, fury, and intense wrath, and I will return them to this place and make them live in safety.

because the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do what is evil.

See, I have appointed you today over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and demolish, to build and plant.

The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry for help.

He will look at men and say,“ I have sinned and perverted what was right; yet I did not get what I deserved.He redeemed my soul from going down to the Pit, and I will continue to see the light.”

“‘ For I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.

For the eyes of the LORD roam throughout the earth to show himself strong for those who are wholeheartedly devoted to him. You have been foolish in this matter. Therefore, you will have wars from now on.”

It is a land the LORD your God cares for. He is always watching over it from the beginning to the end of the year.

Remember me favorably, my God, for all that I have done for this people.

“ I will gather the remnant of my flock from all the lands where I have banished them, and I will return them to their grazing land. They will become fruitful and numerous.

At one moment I might announce concerning a nation or a kingdom that I will uproot, tear down, and destroy it.However, if that nation about which I have made the announcement turns from its evil, I will relent concerning the disaster I had planned to do to it.At another time I might announce concerning a nation or a kingdom that I will build and plant it.

For I have set my face against this city to bring disaster and not good— this is the LORD’s declaration. It will be handed over to the king of Babylon, who will burn it.’

“ Son of man, your own relatives, those who have the right to redeem your property, along with the entire house of Israel— all of them— are those to whom the residents of Jerusalem have said,‘ You are far from the LORD; this land has been given to us as a possession.’“ Therefore say,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: Though I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, yet for a little while I have been a sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone.’“ Therefore say,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: I will gather you from the peoples and assemble you from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.’
